Hi all,

Scottish Michael here. (I normally do Community Defibrillator posts…)

I thought I would post these for anyone who might need them. Feel free to screen-shot & Share Far and Wide.

Some are for Veterans, others like SHOUT & Samaritans are generic.

I’ve been involved with Suicide prevention and Intervention since 2011. It’s never too early to help someone with suicidal thoughts, but sadly sometimes it’s too late.

Check on your friends & family.
Ask them how they are and really listen to their answer.

And remember, if someone answers they’re “fine”, the chances are they aren’t really.

Make them a Brew and listen to them.
Just knowing someone is there and actually cares is half the battle.

It really can work wonders…

To my human moms & dads, this is what happens to my paws when you take me out in the scorching sun ☀️ when the pavement is so hot !

Remember I sweat through my paws, so in this heat I can’t get rid of my sweat as my paws are burning. Missing my walk won’t harm me. Please let me just relax indoors and take me out when the sun is down🐾

If you see someone walking their dog on hot pavement, ask them to take off their shoes for the remainder of their walk home. Maybe then they'll understand.
