We have a female tortoiseshell cat who came in last night having been found on local farmland.
She is injured but is being looked after. 🥰

Unfortunately she is not microchipped.

This is all the info we have at the moment.

Got to give a huge shout out to this angel Harley! 😇

Harley belongs to receptionist Lucy! You all know her. ❤️

We needed some blood to make serum eye drops for a poorly patient and Harley came to the rescue. The blood will be spun down and the serum separated and used for drops. Which is a super clever way of treating some eye conditions. 👀

As you can see Harley was an absolute angel for her bloods barely needing any restraint from nurse Laura while vet Lily took her bloods. Afterwards she gave out free hugs and even helped Laura with her nurse duties. 🥰

Last week we met Bella! Bella came in for a puppy groom. 🐶 Check out this little video of the stages of her groom! Puppy grooms are recommended for any dogs that will require regular grooming as an adult dog. This helps get them used to the sights and sounds of the groom room and make sure they are relaxed and enjoy their future grooms. We start off with a few puppy grooms, whilst their coats are developing and most puppies are ready for a full groom at 6 months old. Crescent Veterinary Clinic.

Crescent Veterinary Clinic is a small animal RCVS Accredited veterinary practice with a joining groomers in Melton Mowbray. Working with all varities of small animals, Crescent is a long established and well equiped veterinary centre. We are passionate about animals and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for your animals.

Our team of vets/nurses and receptionists welcome all pets. Our aim is to ensure all animals and their owners feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door to the moment they leave. Crescent is well equipped to provide a high standard of clinical care. We have three separate consulting rooms, an in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, dedicated dentistry room, separate dog/cat and isolation wards. An ample-sized car park is located at the rear with disabled access and free dedicated client parking.

Our practice is accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards scheme, so you can be sure that we work to high standards of care and protection for our clients, both human and animal. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgery we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment. From routine vaccinations through to surgical procedures.

In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call our surgery on 01664 562142 and you will be advised what to do next. MiNightVets is our preferred out of hours emergency services partner. They are a dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours. Their qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care. Their support allows our vets to be fully refreshed for the day shift. For an out of hours emergency appointment telephone: 0115 943 0898. MiNightVet is run within the CVS (UK) Ltd; Healthy Pet Club members will still be entitled to 10% off their services.
