Just to reiterate on the below post.

When booking an appointment with us you will have to input your card details which stores them on the booking.

If you do not attend your appointment you will be charged 100% of the appointment fee.

We had this situation last night where the customers relative has now threatened to leave us a bad review if we do not refund the money.

When booking the appointment you are told you will be charged 100% if you do not attend the appointment or if you cancel after 48 hours prior.

You are also told on your request email and confirmation email so this should not be a surprise to anyone.

This is our livelihood and how we pay our bills. We cannot afford to lose money because people do not respect our time or service.

Please bare this in mind when booking an appointment.

We would like to inform you of a new update to our booking system.

When scheduling any new appointments, you will now be required to input your card details as part of a pre-authorisation process.

Here’s how it works:

Convenient Payments: Your card can be charged automatically at the time of collection, making the process smoother and more efficient.

No-Show/Cancellation Policy: If an appointment is missed or cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time, the card on file will automatically be charged 100% of the appointment fee.

Please note that you will not be charged at the time of booking, but your card details will be securely stored for these purposes.

This change comes after a significant increase in no-shows and late cancellations since November, despite our efforts to send reminders.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement this policy to ensure fair and efficient service for all our valued customers.

🔮👻 Lola the mystical dachshund stared into her crystal ball, her eyes wide as fog swirled within. She saw a dark and stormy night in the future… a lone dog wandering through the mist, their once-beautiful coat tangled and muddy. 🌧️🐾 The dog’s paws were tired, and they felt lost, thinking they’d never shine again. But then… a light appeared! ✨ Lola leaned closer to the crystal ball, the vision getting clearer… there was hope, a transformation on the horizon, and then *POOF* the crystal ball clouded over! “Even in the darkest nights, the glow-up is coming.” muttered Lola. Will this dog find their way to our salon for the ultimate makeover? Only time will tell… 🧙‍♀️🐶
