Well our Beti had the best time in North Wales ……we’d booked this holiday last autumn knowing it would probably be our Bonnie’s last time away with us but sadly it was not to be.
Having had the surprising, devastating loss of our Bella last summer and how this affected us all badly…..this was nothing compared to how Bonnie would feel with the loss of her mam and so she pined for Bella to the point her heart got weaker and weaker until it finally broke just a few weeks ago.
As Bella got older myself and Hayley would often chat about “how would Bonnie cope when she’s gone” as we always knew she would struggle….all of her life she was never away from her and would worry if she couldn’t at least see her close by…..so for us, all we could do was to make life as rewarding and as comfortable as possible for her as the days….weeks…months passed by.
Anyway back to our Beti…..thankfully she’s a lot more independent……I very rarely use FB but I wanted to share her adventure and show that life goes on for us all…..up until the last minute we wasn’t even going…..but then our thoughts switched back to Beti and how much she would enjoy it. Every where we visited we’d be like “Bonnie would’ve loved that” or “Bella would have loved this” or “can you imagine them two if ……..” and so on and so on
I was going to apologise for the amount of photos shared this past week but I’m not….as next year when this moment comes around we’ll remember how we both felt and more importantly how much Beti enjoyed ❤️
