❗️Holliday hours 2023 ❗️

Hello everyone
We just want to put our Holliday hours well in advance just incase anybody needs to seek alternative arrangements, whilst we are spending some quality time with our family and fur baby’s.

Please to not hesitate to message if any of these hours that we are taking interfere with ongoing hours we will try our best to squeeze around everything we can 🐶🍂

- Sunday 5th November- bonfire night
(We will be finishing at 5pm due to early dark nights and fireworks)

- 24th December to the 28th December to travel to familys and friends over the Christmas period.

- Sunday 31st December
(We will be finishing at 5pm due to fireworks and early dark nights)

So today we took Ted Ralph and breeze for. Walkies together, they ran and played in the orange leave that have started to fall, and after that, we let them run riot in the garden as Ted isn’t best off his lead on walkies as he is too playful for his own little good 🥰, here is breeze giving ted a cuddle in the garden after there walkies happy Tuesday everybody ❤️

Due to the extremely hot weather it’s an essential to keep your dogs hydrated, but not over hydrated. Keep plenty of water sources and water nutrient treats to hand, keep them as cool as possible, and no car journeys unless your vehicle has air conditioning, stay safe have a brilliant rest of your weekend!

🌞PRO TIPS TOO REMEMBER🌞

Summer is the time to have outdoor fun with our fury friends, longer walks in the park, ambitious hikes, beach days, the sun is shining, and the outdoors is calling.

But hot weather can also make us uncomfortable, and it poses special risks for dogs. From increased exposure to ticks and other insects to sunburn and even heatstroke, all sorts of things can go wrong for your dog in summer. Keep the following safety concerns in mind as the temperature rises, and follow our tips for summer safety for dogs. They will help you keep your pet happier and healthier during the dog days of summer.

🔴Give your dog a shady spot to hang out on hot days or keep them inside where there’s shade and or a fan , Doghouses are not good shelter in the summer because they can trap heat, almost like a greenhouse.

🔴Fill a child-size wading pool or pool designed for dogs with fresh water for your dog to cool off in.

🔴Never leave your dog in a closed vehicle on a hot day. The temperature inside a car can reach 100 degrees Fahrenheit in just 20 minutes.

🔴Provide plenty of cool, fresh water, perhaps in an insulated dog bowl.

🔴Avoid exercising your dog strenuously on extremely hot days. Take walks in the early mornings or evenings, when the sun’s heat is less intense on there little bodies.

🔴Avoid exposing your dog to hot asphalt or sand, which can burn their paws, for any prolonged period.

‼️Be mindful of your dog’s breed. Dogs that are brachycephalic (have a short head and snout), such as Bulldogs, Boxers, Japanese Chin, and Pekingese, have an especially hard time in the heat because they do not pant as efficiently as longer-nosed dogs. Keep your brachycephalic dog inside with air-conditioning, and or a fan. ‼️

But most of all don’t forget to have fun 💜
