Togo’s top tips for Bonfire Night 🔥🧨🎆✨
✨ Use calming plug in sprays such as @petremedyofficial and @adaptildog, though I advise using these for a few weeks leading up to the event.
✨ Create a safe space/den away from the windows, this can be in their normal crate or a safe space they like, but make sure it is somewhere you can be near them also.
✨ Play background music/radio/TV. Dogs really seem to like Classical FM 🤣🎻
✨ If your dog is very sensitive to fireworks, book an appointment with your vet for a discussion on some medications/supplements that will work best for them. @nutravetuk (Nutracalm) is very good and available over the counter or online.
✨ In the future work on desensitising your dog by playing firework sounds quietly in the background using @youtube , this is important to start from them being a puppy.
✨ Lastly but most importantly do not walk your dog on the evening, walk them during the day and use enrichment activities to tire them out indoors.

Honestly- I'm a little burnt out, l've been putting every spare minute of time and effort into setting up as a locum and my small business.
