Sundays were made for puppy smushing 🐾 6 of these gorgeous Cocker spaniels had their microchips done today.

It’s always lovely to return following the pregnancy confirmation scan and see the pups on the outside! I’m also feeling smug to find out I was spot on with due date and litter size estimation 😜

WHAT IF THERE’S ONLY ONE PUPPY IN THERE?!

My primary aim when doing an ultrasound scan is to confirm pregnancy. The next thing I need to check is if it’s a singleton pregnancy, or particularly small litter size. This scenario can increase the risk of Caesarean section due to foetal dystocia (failure to progress during birth) and therefore the scan forearms the owner with information they can pass on to their vet in order to be prepared.

Many owners of dogs with singleton pregnancies book further scans to track growth and monitor progress. My Apogee machine has the latest Doppler ultrasound technology and I am fully trained and insured to give you the professional level of service your dog deserves. 🐾

I was delighted to scan Penny in pup yesterday, a very exciting litter due in March!

Super excited to announce that Penny has scanned in pup to Tucker Munday dog

Big shout out to Dan and the gang at LD Embroidery in Kendal for kitting me out with some logo’d scrubs and clothing for when I’m out and about training my gundogs. The attention to detail and effort made to get everything produced to the highest standard is exemplary- mine is a tricky logo! I love my products and will be ordering some more soon.

It’s official, I’m on the map!

My posh Level 2 Advanced Canine Pregnancy Ultrasound certificate has arrived! Therefore, as an Animal Ultrasound Association accredited Gold member I can be now be found on the official AUA map of properly qualified scanners 🙌🏽 🙌🏽
