Happy Easter everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend.

Hi all,

We had to say goodbye to our lovely lurcher Louis on Thursday.

Sorry it's been quiet. It's been a hectic few weeks. I'm now quite poorly with covid so I have had to cancel the whole week this week. My apologies for those I've had to cancel.

Just a quick note:

Please be aware that I book up 5-6 weeks ahead, so I strongly recommend booking in advance where possible.
Most book a few grooms in advance to avoid disappointment.

My next availability is October- 10th, 11th & 18th, after that, I have only a few left for November.

🐾 During the last few weeks rumours have been spreading that I'm no longer grooming, I'm getting daily messages asking if I'm still open.
I was told by a customer yesterday that an ex customer told them I had closed, so I just wanted to set the record straight.

🐾 I am still grooming but at the moment I'm doing small/medium dogs whilst I try to rest my elbow.

🐾 I have already contacted those that I can't do at the moment and I'm sorry to those I have let down.

❗️Exciting news❗️

I can now offer Reiki for dogs, cats and small animals 🐾

I am a fully qualified reiki practitioner.
I completed my reiki second degree course in October with international reiki master Rob Fellows.
I have had reiki myself in the past, it was so beneficial to me that I then realised how beneficial it would be to animals too.
Particularly with the dogs and cats I have seen over the years with grooming.

🟣 What is reiki?

Reiki is a non invasive, natural form of energy healing and works on a physical, mental and emotional level. Therfore it can not only help with physical ailments such as pain but for easing stress, anxiety and emotional issues too.
Animals benefit from this as it enhances relaxation and balancing their bodies energy which will help maintain their overall health.
Animals actually use reiki energy all the time. It's no secret that dogs can read our feelings, they do this by reading our energy, therefore they are very familiar with it when reiki is offered to them.

🟣 What happens during a treatment?

Giving reiki is a very simple process.
They will guide me with how they want to recieve it- whether that's cuddling up to me or roaming freely around the room.
A comfortable bed is provided should they wish to use it, many actually fall asleep during reiki!
Once they are relaxed and settled I will then place my hands on their body or from a short distance, whichever they prefer.

🟣 Cost

There is an introductory offer until end of December of £20 for a 30 minute session or £40 for 1 hour.

An add on treatment to grooming appointments are available for £15 on top of the usual groom price.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Freddie for his first ever groom 🥰
He had a bath and a tidy up to get him used to sights/sounds etc.
He is so gorgeous! I will be taking it slow with him so he doesn't get overwhelmed but he's a very smart boy and I can't wait to build our bond together ❤

This afternoon I met Biggles the handsome border terrier 🥰 He was a little nervous at first but soon relaxed when he got to know me 💙
