Everyone loves Rummynose Tetras, but have you ever heard of brilliant Rummynose Tetra? 🤩 These guys are another level, they are so sparkly! 🌟 A guaranteed eye catcher for peaceful community tanks. You’ll find them in our tropical Fishhouse! 🐠

Our Puffers can’t help themselves… excitement always takes over when it comes to feeding time! 🪱🐡 They might act like there’s no tomorrow, but we promise that they do get fed daily 😅 What’s the coolest fish you have ever seen?

A lovely pond plant trolley has arrived! 🌷🌾🪻 The trolley contains a great mix of different sized marginals and oxygenators and also plenty native plants including lilies! 🪷 We are open from 9am - 6pm every day including weekends! ☺️

🐠Pakistani loaches🐠 These snail eating fish grow to a size of about 12cm and are best kept in a well furnished, large aquarium with fine substrate where they will thrive in a group of at least 3 or more 🐟🐟🐟 Besides snails, Pakistani Loaches will also feed on pellets, wafers and tasty frozen foods such as bloodworm or artemia 🪱 They are very active and make a great addition to spacious community aquariums! 😍

It’s a bank holiday today, but our shop is still open until 6pm as usual! 🤗 We could watch our clownfish for hours how they are enjoying the symbiosis with their anemone 🥹 Does anyone else keep Clownfish t home? 🪸 🐠

We’ve got 4 juvenile super red long fin bristlenose plecs ready to go to their new homes! 🤩 These are still very young, they are going to be beautiful fish when mature and are suitable for larger community tanks 🐟 The little ones are very active! We have only received four of them so better be quick if you’d love to see one of these rare guys in your tank at home 🥹 🏡 Pop in to have a look at them and ask a member of our team for more information 🩷 🐠

We feel a bit overswam by fish this week 🤭🐠🐠🐠 Earlier this week we’ve received some lovely freshwater fish which have all settled in and are ready for their new homes! 🏡 We are open all weekend from 9am-6pm, who’s coming in? 🥳

🐉 Indostomus paradoxus 🐉 A truly unique fish not commonly available is now swimming in a display in our shop 🐟 This Burmese Dwarf Stickleback or Paradox Fish is a tiny species, it becomes only 2-3cm long and originates from the northern parts of Burma 🌍 This species should be kept as a larger group in a heavy planted tank with a temperature of 18-22 degrees Celsius and a pH between 6.5 and 8 🌱 Due to their slow feeding and specialist diet, they are best kept in a species only tank where they will feed on small aquatic insects, crustaceans, and worms. They will also eat live- and frozen food such as copepods, artemia and daphnia 🐠 If you’re interested in keeping something very different, coming in and checking out these guys is a must! 🤩

When you feel watched whilst trying to eat your lunch in peace … 🍪🦐👀 👀 👀 👀 👀 We can’t work out if our little Rainbows just enjoy watching the shrimp eat or if they are trying to work out if they should snack some of this tasty algae wafer too. Either way. It’s very cute! 🤭

Long time no see! 🤍 Albino Hoplo Catfish are back in store! These long-lived catfish are best kept in large groups of at least 5 fish in a well-furnished aquarium. Males defend a bubble-nest when breeding 🫧 🐟 Hoplo Catfish are best suited to big tanks (they grow to about 15cm!) where there is plenty driftwood for hiding and fine substrate to encourage their natural behaviour of digging for tasty food 🪱 If you’re looking for that special eye catching addition for your aquarium, these fish might be for you! 🦈
