⭐ I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself properly
I’m Kirstie, a dog trainer who specialises in reactive, nervous, anxious and boisterous dogs who don’t always fit neatly into a typical class.
I don’t do agility.
I don’t do canicross.
I don’t compete at Crufts or have a wall full of rosettes.
I do real-life training for real-life dogs and support for the owners who love them.
I know exactly what it feels like to have a dog who barks at every dog you pass, to be pulled down the street, to dread simple walks or to be chewed to bits by a dog who doesn’t yet understand how to cope.
🐾 My passion for dog training started when I adopted Roo, my rescue lurcher, a 40mph whirlwind with zero recall, no impulse control, reactivity issues, and he pulled like a train.
That journey led me to become qualified with the IMDT, alongside my degree in Animal Welfare and Behaviour. It also shaped how I train: focusing on real situations, real struggles, and real results.
I help owners build confidence, understand their dogs, and feel proud of the progress they never thought possible. I’m always just a message or phone call away, and I’ve built genuinely lovely relationships with the people I support.
I’m proud to have helped many dogs and owners turn things around, get back out into the world, make dog friends, and enjoy life again.
🐾 I offer:
• Fun games based training 1:1 training
• Puppy Classes
• Group classes
• Dog walks and training walks
• Café socialisation sessions
• Walking confidence sessions
• Support with everyday behavioural struggles
⭐ All training is 100% positive, effective and realistic, never through fear, force or punishment.
If you’re struggling, you’re not alone. And you absolutely can change your dog’s life (and your own).
