Roo finally said goodbye to her cone yesterday which she needed to keep on while her spay scar healed. And today she celebrated in style with bestie Odin who is also very proud of his handiwork!

Well today is my last day at 1st Class Pet Services and I’ve officially handed the leads over to Wendy of For4paws pet services. Wendy is a natural with the pack and I’m very comfortable that I’ve left my extended fur family in very safe hands .
So to each and everyone of my pack and their owners , thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and love over the last ten years .

But it’s not goodbye, it’s ta rah for a bit ! 🐾🐾🐾🐾

Today is Canine Lymphoma Awareness Day.

Lymphoma is a common cancer seen in pet dogs. It is more common in middle aged dogs, typically 6-9 years old, and can affect any breed of dog but is seen more commonly in boxers, bull mastiffs, basset hounds, St Bernards, Scottish terriers, Airedale
terriers and bulldogs.

Well, what can I say ?
The last ten years have been an absolute blast 🐾🐾

I’ve loved each and every one of my pack as if they were my own and I shall miss everyone of them so much.

I’m handing over the leads for the dog walking to my good friend Wendy who has started her own company For Paws Pet Services. I’ve been very very picky in who I hand my pack over to, I’m very protective of them and did not want them to be placed in the hands of just anyone, for example just someone starting up. I needed someone who had owned dogs for a very long time (over 30 years to be honest, but that’s me and that’s the way I wanted it to be).

Wendy has two schnauzers like me and two cats . She has owned dogs for a very long time and I know my pack will be in safe hands with her .

So to every one of my customers, the depth of my gratitude can never be measured in relation to your continued support and friendship over the past ten years . My heartfelt thanks are immeasurable and will continue to be so .

Our friendship continues and I will be keeping a close eye on my pack !!

I will be back on a regular basis as I’m keeping my amazing groomer Francesca on as well as my hairdresser, Snippers in Hakin so I will keep in touch as your friendship is part and parcel of the tapestry of my life .
