Now the temperature has dropped you may see some changes in your dogs! 🐶

The cold weather can worsen or cause more pain/discomfort for your pup!
You may see this by;

Increasing stiffness- Dogs suffering with conditions such as arthritis can see an increase in stiffness as the joint may become tense, inflammation and painful
This makes walking and day to day activities particularly difficult 🐾

Reduced Activity- As the cold weather makes your dog/s uncomfortable their attitude for exercise and enjoyment may deteriorate! 🩵

Painful flare ups- Due to the increase of stiffness their pain can increase leading to behaviour, mobility and condition changes! 🦴

Hydrotherapy will support your dogs movement with warm water this aims to reduce inflammation, reduce pain, increase blood flow, reduce stiffness, have a safe low impact form of exercise, support already diagnosed conditions, allows the water to support your dogs movement and more!

Hello my name is Hollie the face behind Water Paws 🐾
We have been open over a year now so I wanted to do a new post about me! I have worked with animals for over 8 years now but have always wanted to go into a profession to help them! When I discovered Canine Hydrotherapy and saw the good that it does I knew this was for me 🐶 The improvements to the quality of life can be amazing for your dogs.
I could also see the good swimming does for all dogs, ages and breeds so extended my services to Confidence swims, Puppy Swims and more! 🌊
