We had a lovely first ADULTS ONLY event this morning topped off with Sally at age 72 having her first ever sit on a horse. She was a little worried at first but Super Sox looked after and she was soon relaxing into the rhythm of his walk.
She announced afterwards that she now needs to find a motorbike to ride as never done that either.....

We're trying something new for 2025.
ADULTS ONLY OPEN MORNING.

we regularly get asked if suitable for adults to visits and of course we are, so decided to run an exclusive event.

Feed for animals.
Access into goat and sheep enclosures to get up close.

Even adult pony rides. ( additional charge and max 12 stone weight allowance)

We are super excited to welcome Beau to our farm. He joined us over Christmas period and having had his vet and saddle checks done he's had the big tick from the council to join our pony ride team.
Beau is proving to be a firm favourite around the farm already with his gentle nature and love of people.

If you want to come and meet Beau and the rest of the animals we have our first open morning next Saturday 25th.

Happy new year everyone.
Sorry for delayed post it was a busy and challenging start to the year with the weather conditions.
However we are looking forward to an extra busy 2025 with lots of party, event and mobile farm bookings coming in.

We ended the year at St Mary's Church, Marston Moreteyne and Lidlington
Merry Christmas everyone.
The animals and staff are all having a well earned break and we will be open again in the new year.

We left Jack tucked up in his shelter today, but headed out still with Bryan and the little animals to Long Marston School Christmas fete.

Please be kind to those forced to cancel or change events this weekend. It's always such a difficult decision deciding to cancel events due to weather conditions and a big financial hit to all involved that no one wants to have to make.

Due to the forecasted storm again this weekend we have unfortunately had to cancel all events at our site. All those due to attend have been contacted with options to change date. Its that time of year again and we are being asked about unwanted pumpkins.

We are happy to take any UNCARVED pumpkins as feed for animals.

Unfortunately carved pumpkins are classed as kitchen waste and not only then unsafe to feed the animals due to contamination risk but it is also illegal to feed them anything considered kitchen waste.

Feel free to drop any uncarved ones at our gate.

The sun has come out and everyone is getting in the spirit for our Halloween fun at farm today. We have capacity for anyone wanting to pay on the day now. Open until 3pm.

Although we have decided not to attend the finals, very proud to have been shortlisted at the National Business Women's award 2024 under the social impact award. This is based on our work with the NHS helping support mental health.

Well it's been a kind of bitter sweet day today. Absolutely blown away that we have been awarded 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 during our licence inspection today, something I did not think our small establishment would be capable of as this is the highest award for any riding school, but it was also decided that its time our amazing Bobby at over 33 years old is retired from the pony ride team.
He will still be joining in with our therapy work, as this pony loves being around people, but time under the saddle will be no more. This pony has been a first ride for many children and helped teach my own daughter to ride.
Bobby enjoy your retirement I don't think a pony has earnt being spoilt more.❤️

So I found out this week in equivalent human years our Bobby is 86 years old!! I hope I can still move as well as him at 86! ❤
