We offer a daycare like no other, offering secure, segregated gardens for your furry companion to play in, a securely fenced open field for ball play and a fenced woodland walk for exploration and enrichment. How We Work:

Before your dog joins Domestic Doggess, we must complete a quick registration process to

comply with our licensing conditions. Email us to arrange a free consultation, where we can arrange a convenient time to meet you and your pet and discuss your needs. From this we can obtain your basic dog information, vaccination details, any training needs and answer any of your questions. JOB VACANCY - DOGGY DAYCARE ASSISTANT

If you have a TRUE passion and love for dogs and want to work outdoors, then we have the perfect job for you. This is not for the faint hearted and is certainly not a stroll in the park. The role requires an extremely energetic, fit and agile person who thinks on their feet and does not tire easily as there are a wide variety of tasks involved in caring for the dogs and their surroundings. It is also a requirement to keep on top of the tough cleaning duties on a daily basis. This includes daily cleaning up after the dogs, mopping floors, putting the washing on and of course very regular poo picks! Another requirement for the job is helping to maintain and upkeep the premises, set in two acres of woodland and countryside, so someone with labouring/gardening and general outdoor working experience would be beneficial.

This job is full time. Occasional Overnight weekend stays are required at our day-care/home boarding farmhouse in Millington, in-between Altrincham and Knutsford.

This role may involve some driving around collecting and dropping off dogs, so a clean driving licence would be required. We are looking for someone with experience of working with or handling dogs.

We operate in all weathers so you must not be phased by any adverse weather conditions, be prepared to get wet and muddy, but also in the summer get a tan!

This job is not your run of the mill job and is very rewarding and lots of fun! However, picking dogs up, walking them and caring for them, can be physically demanding and you will need to be fit and able to adapt to any situation.

Ideal Requirements:

Have experience working with dogs
Experience in cleaning duties
A DBS (CRB) check will be required.
Physically fit and happy to work in all weather conditions.
Where needs be, willing to step in and help for a few extra hours
A good manner with people as relationships with clients is extremely important
Have a full clean UK driving licence
Reliable, consistent, and willing to learn - due to the nature of this job this is paramount!

Our Story

Being pack animals, dogs enjoy the social dynamics of being walked in a group, stimulating both mind and body, resulting in a happy and tired dog returned home. We will come and collect your furry friend from your home in our fully kitted doggy van. They will be taken to one of the many exciting walking destinations that we are lucky enough to have right on our doorstep. After at least an hour of running, wrestling and sniffing, your pooch will be returned happy and content for the rest of the day. We will be more than happy to hose and towel off any muddy paws! We will arrange a time suitable to you for your dog to be picked up; we work from early morning until early evening so walk times are very flexible. Our normal walk duration is for at least an hour but some dogs come out for walks all day with us and some have two walks spread out across the day. Once dropped off and cleaned up we top up any water bowls & are happy to feed any meals needed or administer medication. We also leave a comment card about your dog's day. How We Work Before Domestic Doggess Walking and your dog can start having fun, we must complete a quick registration process. Call us to arrange a free consultation, where we can arrange a convenient time to meet you and your pet and discuss your needs. From this we can obtain your basic dog information, emergency contact details and answer any of your questions. If you want to use us as a one off, ad hoc or a regular user, please do not hesitate to call us. Once we have you registered on our system then you can book in as little or often as you like. Last minute outing? Shift worker? Going away? Want a day to yourself? Need your pet looking after? Does your pet need a visit to the vets or groomers? Is your pet lonely during the day?
