‘Leave it’ should be one of the first commands you train your puppy. This will put you in control of what your dog is aloud to eat and will help avoid them picking up anything whilst out on walks. ‘Leave it’ starts off simple and at home, before slowly expanding the training to more environments. This command will keep your pup safe and hopefully prevent any unwanted vet trips! Our girl Moon has picked up the command very quickly, but the real test comes next week when she starts going out for walkies!
