Day two of birthdays have arrived for this crazy boy Alfie!!

Alfie had a dramatic entrance to our lives.

Alfie arrived around 18hours after Honey and a tense trip to the vets.

When we got the news he had arrived safely there was a very emotional wait to go collect all 3 and bring them home.

When we finally got to see the wiggly, strong, full of life silver bundle the sigh of relief and love was instant.

Alfie has a special place in our heart always!!

This time last year I was 2 days deep of no sleep waiting for the arrival of the puppies.

Mabel was in very slow labour and I was a worried mess!

Que a heat wave, a day of panting and restlessness from Mabel then the arrival of this gorgeous bundle mid afternoon finally happened!

It really was nothing short of magical!

We had plenty of hands on deck to support Mabel and 3 sets of wide eyes sneaking a peak round the corner.

Assisting Mabel birthing Honey was truly amazing and a memory that I will forever treasure!

Puppies are 14 weeks old now and thriving in their forever homes!!

We are over the moon with their loving families and the amazing job they are doing!!

We're lucky enough to have a little puppy size visitor for a sleepover today!!!
Feel very previlidged to have Mr A over!!
He's grown sooo much and was so excited when he arrived!!!

This week has seen some changes.
Mabel had the start of what appeared to be mastitis so off to the vets we went, painkillers and antibiotics and no more nursing.

Mabel is now sporting a baby vest to stop them feeding from her.

They are incredibly playful now and staying awake for much longer periods of time. We've added lots more toys for them to play with and they're really showing an interest now.

Busy couple of days trying to make the big world a little bit less scary.

More 'walks' around the block in the trailer and in our arms. Little trips in the car, which were really positive.
Today they both fell asleep on the way back from their Microchipping appointment in the car.

Honey fell asleep in the travel crate by herself with her forever home blanket. Alfie calmed down and also fell asleep by himself in the crate.

We have started simple commands of 'bed' and 'sit'. Which is starting off really positive.
They both come to their name and funny noises.

They really are a dream and we will sorely miss them ❤️💙

Introducing new toys!

6 weeks old

The whelping pen has been extended once again, this is probably the biggest we can get it.
We've added the foldable crate in to create some familiarity. They generally just attack it but slowly are becoming more comfortable and today had a sleep together in there.
I am using the 2nd crate to create a bit of distance between them. This is a working progress.
Both puppies are having much more supervised free running in the house and garden regularly.
Feeding is progressing positively.

They are both so playful and energic and have the whole family wrapped around their paws ❤️💙

Our job is done!!
Although we are always here to offer help, advice and support.
We've already got a sleepover arranged with one of the pups for later in the year!

Two happy, healthy puppies off to their new home!

We have loved our experience and so glad that two families will experience the love these two little beauty's have to offer.

The house seems so quiet, it's definitely going to take some time to adjust to them moving on. They certainly have made a huge dent in our hearts!!
