Helen has worked with dogs for 22 years; in rescue and in modifying behavioural issues w

ithin a variety of different breeds. Helen is qualified to BSc Hons level and Veterinary recommended. As a business, Doggiedodoggiedon't works with dogs with varying behaviour issues in a one to one setting.
* All classes are held outside at Woughton on the Green, these are Level 1, 2 & 3 which are all group classes.
* Socialisation is available for puppies under 6 months of age that are doing classes; this is all done on lead where social manners and are taught and confidence is gained.
* Obedience training is also carried out in one to one sessions for those who prefer the individual training sessions.
* Scent work is Helens passion and where Doggiedo Detectives were born; these sessions are run for clients of Doggiedodoggiedon't.
* Seminars and workshops are also for existing clients of doggiedodoggiedon't. Seminars include - How Dogs Learn, Children and Dogs, Bite Prevention, Body Language and Resource Guarding, Nutrition and Adolescence. Workshops include - Recall, Loose Lead, Puppy Life Skills, Rucksack walks and Reactivity. Helen has two Hungarian Vizslas, Zoltan (14.5 years) and Joska (7 years), 2 cats and fish - there is a ginger theme. Stuart works alongside Helen and takes classes, he has a dog called Harley who is 7 years old, she is a Schnoodle. Sue is Admin, PA and Accounting - she organises the business and has worked alongside Helen for around 8 years. Based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and working within Northants and Beds. Helen also works with clients overseas alongside clients in various parts of the UK. This is achieved online or via travel to the designated region.

Pet Theft! For both dogs and cats 🐈🐕
The Pet Abduction Act coming into force today!

It won’t stop it but it’s definitely a positive step!

I have helped many owners over the years of lost/stolen dogs and it’s absolutely devastating.

Glad to see this has come into play at last. Sadly dogs and cats have always been seen as possessions, like a ring or watch, it’s a relief to see this Act is being enforced. Now they are being regarded as sentient beings who can experienc trauma.

We’re pleased to welcome the new Pet Abduction Act, coming into force from today, 24 August, which introduces tougher penalties for stealing dogs- up to five years in prison, a fine, or both.

This law is a crucial step in recognising the emotional value of dogs and the devastation caused to victims of pet theft.

Can’t quite believe how far this fella has come in actually quite a short space of time! Huge well done to his handlers!! And him of course!

He loves dogs so much that he just needs to get to them (in his mind at least) and he used to let everyone know! He is doing so well!

Please always remember quick fixes don’t work, you aren’t working with the issue at hand. It’s important to work by changing the dogs mindset.

Patience and persistency in training is key. It takes time, sometimes a really long time but as long as they are progressing…. That’s all that matters.
