Helen has worked with dogs for 22 years; in rescue and in modifying behavioural issues w

ithin a variety of different breeds. Helen is qualified to BSc Hons level and Veterinary recommended. As a business, Doggiedodoggiedon't works with dogs with varying behaviour issues in a one to one setting.
* All classes are held outside at Woughton on the Green, these are Level 1, 2 & 3 which are all group classes.
* Socialisation is available for puppies under 6 months of age that are doing classes; this is all done on lead where social manners and are taught and confidence is gained.
* Obedience training is also carried out in one to one sessions for those who prefer the individual training sessions.
* Scent work is Helens passion and where Doggiedo Detectives were born; these sessions are run for clients of Doggiedodoggiedon't.
* Seminars and workshops are also for existing clients of doggiedodoggiedon't. Seminars include - How Dogs Learn, Children and Dogs, Bite Prevention, Body Language and Resource Guarding, Nutrition and Adolescence. Workshops include - Recall, Loose Lead, Puppy Life Skills, Rucksack walks and Reactivity. Helen has two Hungarian Vizslas, Zoltan (14.5 years) and Joska (7 years), 2 cats and fish - there is a ginger theme. Stuart works alongside Helen and takes classes, he has a dog called Harley who is 7 years old, she is a Schnoodle. Sue is Admin, PA and Accounting - she organises the business and has worked alongside Helen for around 8 years. Based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and working within Northants and Beds. Helen also works with clients overseas alongside clients in various parts of the UK. This is achieved online or via travel to the designated region.

Floods of Woolstone. Everywhere we walk in MK, you can’t 🫣 Water is so powerful!!

Another video of his recall exercise! (This dog is completely blind and has an underdeveloped brain - he is a Newfoundland Puppy). Look at his straight walking! You can see him correct himself as he starts to direct left. He does still circle generally but it has significantly reduced… this is massive progress and gives huge hope to his future!

So we have been training this fella through his basic training, however his training isn’t so basic. He is completely blind and has an underdeveloped brain. This lady rescued him after the breeder got in touch with her. His human got in contact to see if we could train him. He started his classes seven weeks ago and permanently circled to the left, in fact he couldn’t walk forward at all. He couldn’t even take a few steps so was carried to his pole and carried back from his pole. He started doing two classes a week a few weeks back to give him all the extra support. We are training through touch rather than hand signals and all exercises are adapted slightly for him where needed. He has limited confidence which is no surprise when he can’t see - we are working on this. He is now walking into the field (in a relately straight line) to his pole for training. He gets very excited when he arrives! He gets excited to hear my voice - not many people can say that 🫣. His coping mechanism would be to grab his human or us with teeth and he is exceptionally quick when he wants to be!! Fast forward and he is now doing exercises and having the food reward and cuddles rather than using his teeth 🦷! That alone is an incredible step! His recall was always going to be tricky as he just would circle and not be able to follow the voice. But again, fast forward (this is his second basic foundations of recall in level one)… Look at him absolutely smash it!! Proud of his fight and what he has managed to achieve. Hats off to his human! 🥰🦮
