That’s all the winter crops planted. After 10 inches of rain in September we wondered if we would get anything planted at all, but we’ve had a very kind November allowing us to press on.
Fortunately we were able to borrow a neighbours claydon drill for areas the vaderstad was struggling with (mostly headlands) and for the direct drilling of beans on unworked ground.
We also had Vernon Contractors help out with some ploughed grassland which went into wheat with their combi drill set up 👌🏼

Spring barley finally in the ground after consistent wet weather this month. Very pleased with the 828 and vaderstad pair proving to be a well balanced match together
