About 18 months I started following Bonny Snowdon Academy and began learning to draw having never drawn before. Over the past 8 months I started to draw our doggie clients as gifts for Xmas. Super happy with how they turned out. Only managed about a dozen so i guess the other regulars know what they’re getting next year whether they like it or not !!

It’s 10.30 pm. Thanks to good weather, we are finally sat outside surrounded by sleeping dogs with the music on and delighting in the fact that it’s almost the longest day of the year and the sky is a spectacular blue, even at this late hour.

Just a quick note to remind everyone that when your vet prescribe a treatment, you are not obliged to buy the treatment from them. Many items are available online from reputable retailers without the extraordinary mark ups that vets are putting on everyday items.

We were charged £128 for six months of flea and worm treatment which is available online for £38. I’ve kicked myself as we should have asked for a prescription (£22.50) and bought the exact same treatment online saving £67.

I’m not knocking the vets, they are businesses and not a community service, but just wanted to raise awareness that other options are available when sourcing your dogs day to day medication needs.
