Fun facts:
- In its early days it was known as the Aberdeen terrier because of its proliferation in the area – and as its popularity spread, it acquired the title of Scottish Terrier in 1879.
- Their terrier persistence has earned the breed the nickname 'the Diehard.'
- The well-known Scottie silhouette is that of a short-legged but substantial terrier with distinctive furnishings at the beard, legs, and lower body. The wiry topcoat and soft, dense undercoat coat can be black, wheaten yellow, or a brindle-stripe pattern.
- It is one of five breeds of terrier that originated in Scotland, the other four being the modern Skye, Cairn, Dandie Dinmont, and West Highland White terriers.

Even if you think your dog doesn’t need a de-shed you maybe wrong! Even the shorter coated dogs still shed their coat loads this is only a small amount of what came out🤯 Shedding is a normal function that helps animals get rid of their old winter or summer coat and grow a new, seasonally appropriate one. Helps promote good blood flow to their skin and prevent any skin diseases or infections that may arise from debris being stuck in the fur, De-shedding helps prevent hot spots by drawing out natural oils released by a dog's skin and fur!
