Due to the icy weather we are having we have decided to postpone this weeks dressage competition until the following thursday as we are concerned the warm up arena will be frozen, and our priority is always to make sure all the horses and riders are safe.
Instead we are holding a dressage test riding practice evening in our indoor arena. Each session will be 30 minutes where you can ride through a test of your choice and get feedback on how to gain those extra marks.
This could be particularly useful to all those riders wanting to compete at the BHS riding school qualifier in February.

Cost :-
£23.00 own horse
£28.00 GHS horse

We have even more exciting events coming in 2023 and would also love to hear what events you would like at Grovewood riding club, whether that be clinics, competitions or talks, we'd love to hear your ideas.

Thank you to everyone who has attended and supported our events so far, it has been a great encouraging atmosphere which is exactly what our aim of the club is, and we hope to see you again soon as well as new combinations coming through.

Congratulations to all our competitors tonight, lots of lovely tests ridden. It was lovely to see you all out enjoying time with your horses and ponies.

Open Stressless dressage competition – Winter points league
Class 1 – Intro A
Class 2 – Intro C
Class 3 – Prelim 2
Class 4 – Prelim 18
Class 5 – Novice 27

• Price :- £13 on your own horse/pony £18 If you would like to use one of the Grove House horses/ponies (GHS horses will be allocated on a first come first serve basis)

• Entries close midday 4/10/22 and times will be available on the Grovewood riding club page from 6pm on 4/10/22.

Cancellation policy - A minimum of 24 hours’ notice will need to be given for a transfer of entry or refund. As a matter of courtesy please let us know if you are unable to make your slot, even if it’s last minute.

Pop down this Thursday, have some fun with your equine friend and have a chat to us about the exciting events we have planned including clinics and a winter points league in both dressage and showjumping.

Free half hour slots available to book in either of our 20x60 arenas. The outdoor arena will be set up with a course of jumps, or practice your flatwork / test riding in the indoor arena.

We are delighted to announce the relaunch of Grovewood Riding Club, a friendly and encouraging environment for the development of horses and rider of all ages and abilities.
