💚💛 THANK YOU to my amazing customers for keeping me going with all the chocolate and Buck’s Fizz - it’s making these 12+hour days a lot more doable 🤪🍾

📣 My last working day is 17th Dec - so that’s less than 3 weeks to go!! Please make sure all your nail appointments are booked in and I currently have a few spaces I could just about squeeze another groom or bath/tidy in 🤞

🤎💜 POLITE NOTICE 💜🤎

With the weather noticeably changing very wet, can I please remind everyone to make sure you DON'T arrive in muddy boots with muddy paws 🐾🥾

This is especially important for nail appointments as it’s not nice for me to get covered in muck cleaning paws AND it blunts my clippers and the dremel won’t work properly on wet nails.

Please help to keep the parlour clean and hygienic for every single customer 🥰

‼️I am now officially on the 6 weeks countdown before I close for Christmas !! 🎉 I am absolutely chocker so if you can’t make your slot you do now run the risk of not getting poochie groomed for Christmas! If you are not booked in but you need a grooming slot before before the 17th December PLEASE get on my cancellation ASAP!

THE IMPORTANCE OF NAIL LENGTH!!
When nails are too long and they touch the floor, they push back into the nail bed. The dog will therefore change their posture to rock back to lift the nails in an attempt to relieve the pressure. This causes aches and pains in the leg which is why you may see your dog chewing his leg and nails. Due to the dog now only walking on the metacarpal pad (the big pad) the dog now has less concussion absorption due to rocking off the digital pads (the 4 little pads). Long term this could cause arthritis in various areas of the dogs body depending where they are compensating.
If you're unsure if your dogs nails are too long - stand them square and the nails should NOT be touching the floor - if they are - pop me a message to book for a nail appointment - it's only £10 for a nail session!

🦷 Emmi-pet treatments may require multiple sessions to loosen hardened plaque and tartar effectively. Results are impressive, making your dog healthier and happier, but patience is necessary!

⏰ Please Note: We limit each session to 30 minutes. If a complete cleaning cannot be done in one session, subsequent sessions will be necessary.

💜 YAY! We did it! 6 grooms later and we have had our first solo groom! Tiny Wolfie was thrown into the deep end when he arrived earlier this year as a 5month old that had no time for any desensitisation sessions due to how fluffy he was - we had to get stuck straight into a full groom! Over the year his dad has had to stay to help as he got tired super quick and he was very wriggly but he’s maturing into such a fab pup! Lots of perfecting to do, but a great achievement today! Well done Wolfie 🥰
