Can my family and friends please share, I’m looking for dogs specifically for my synoptic exams!
I’m studying dog grooming in Northop college and I need some specific coat dogs to to my practical exams. The exams themselves will be on a Thursday around 11am between mid April and mid June but I would be hoping to bring the dog in on a Thursday before then to have a practice run or 2. I need a dog that is used to being groomed as I’ll be marked on the groom throughout and the final finish, I am okay with grooming slightly more nervous and fidgety dogs but it’ll make my exams a lot harder if half of it is spent adjusting, comforting and reassuring the dog.
I need to do a wool coat dog
- Poodles, poodle mixes (the coat must be more too the poodle size so I can achieve the specific requirements of my exam)
And I need to do a silky coat dog
- any type of Spaniel would be great
I know it’s a lot to ask for specific coat/breed dogs, in a good condition that are well behaved and used to being groom but this is one of the first biggest steps into my dog grooming journey so if you want to pamper your pooch and help out a baby groomer please drop me a message and we can hopefully arrange something.
