On Friday we ran week 2 of our REAL WORLD SHORT COURSE and everyone was fantastic.
Aswell as our planned exercises everyone worked on some individual challenges.
Beth and Rosie were learning to do nothing and chill whilst on a walk. This is a super important skill especially with working breeds who just want to be on the go all the time.
Dougie and Duncan were working on reducing reactivity to other dogs walking past.
Tilda was working on her fears of cars.
Well done everyone keep up with the fantastic work 🥰🐶

This is a 1 hour session specifically for dogs who over react (eg barking, growling, lunging) to people and/or other dogs. We will be looking at various exercises to understand why the dogs are acting this way, how to help them feel better around their triggers and ways to reduce the amount and intensity of reactions.
This session is limited to 4 dog/handler teams and costs £20. To take this last minute space please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

On Friday we had week 1 of our Real World Short Course with Rosie, Beth, Tilda and Duncan.
The great thing about our small groups is that aswell as following our lesson plans we can also focus on individual issues so we also worked on some reactivity, some being over excitable and vehicle fear.
Everyone did a great job and we’re looking forward to this week when we will be joined by Dougie 🥰🥰
We had a great session on Friday in our Super Sniffers Workshop.
Mishka, Rosie, Stanley, Nellie and Beth all showed some great searches and indications. We introduced water searches and did some more work on our vehicle searches and room searches.
Well done guys you did a fantastic job 🥰🥰
Yesterday we ran a 121 session with the lovely Tilda who is a 5 month old Rottweiler.
You wouldn’t know it from the video but Tilda has been showing some extreme fear behaviours in the presence of traffic and considering she’s going to be a big dog we needed to help her sooner rather than later.
We have implemented some easy to work on behaviours and a plan for her to work on with her mum and we are all very pleased with her progress yesterday.
Well done Tilda 🐶🥰🐶
In our second group we welcomed Koda, Hazel, Kipper, Mavis and Lottie.
Everyone settled so well and worked really hard on our exercises.
Our next Ysgol Ci Course is starting Tuesday 17th September at 6pm and is starting to hook up. For more information please don’t hesitate to get in touch 💙🐶🩷
On Monday we welcomed 2 new groups attending our Ysgol Ci Foundation Course.
