Red fox lab, Pablo joined us for the day and made great friends with Mabli 💕 Little Lexi and Maizey are still enjoying their hols and all their walks 🐾

Barclay headed off to his wonderful new home yesterday where he gets to walk on the beach with his new friend Ben and relax at home in front of the fire with two feline friends 🐾 He really has landed on his paws but we miss him a lot 💕

2025 AVAILABILITY

If you are planning a break and would like your dog to come and stay here for their holidays 🐾 please get in touch soon as I'm getting booked up, especially during the summer months.

Below is an idea of availability:

February - available dates
March - available dates
April - very limited availability 29th March to 7th April only)
May - 1 space 1st to 5th, full 6th to 10th, available dates 11th and 22nd (no availability May half term)
June - limited availability 14th to 30th
July - full
August - full until after the 21st
September - limited availability (full 15th to 27th)
October - available dates (apart from 8 to 13 and 24 to 29 inclusive)
November - available dates
December - availability before 21st Dec (no boarding over Christmas and New Year 2025)

We also will be taking some breaks including occasional weekends off so there will be dates where I'm not available.

We can only accept low prey drive breeds who are used to cats or show no aggression towards them, who are well behaved and well socialised with other dogs and children.

For dogs who haven't stayed before, an overnight trial is required. All dogs must be fully vaccinated annually (including kennel cough), be spayed/neutered and over the age of 8 months.

Fully licensed by Herefordshire Council, Licence No. N-HOB64 and insured 🐾

After a lovely weekend off ❄️ we were very pleased to welcome our first New Year guests 💕 Little Lexi and Maizey, Ruby and Indie and Mabli 🐾 Back to our morning walks with our good friend Bella, secure field fun this afternoon and chewing buffalo horns by the fire 🐾❄️🔥

This is every bull breed owner's worst nightmare 😞 A dog who is under this rescue's care has been seized and labelled a banned breed (Pitbull type) and they need to raise around £5K for legal fees and assessments in order to prove his innocence. It can take years and sadly dogs regularly die in 'police approved kennels'. Police often pressure owners into signing papers when they come to seize the dog, which they don't realise gives their consent to put the dog to sleep before they have a chance to fight for them 😞

Any bull breed can be seized at any time even if they haven't done anything wrong. Despite adding XL bullies to the banned breed list, bites continue to rise. Animal rescue charities are against the ban as it is not proven to work and so many innocent lives are lost

Snow day ❄️❄️❄️🎉🐾
After 7 years of living outside in Greece, senior hound Storm spent most of the day in her bed and only braved the cold white stuff when absolutely essential! ❄️😴🔥

Making the most of the sunshine ☀️❄️ Albie joined us for the day and probably wasn't expecting a hike up Pen-y-fan but we made it to the top with two mini humans and six canines! 🐾

Storm did especially well at almost 12 years young and needed two jackets as she really feels the cold ❄️ and little Maybelline with her little legs! I doubt Pixie (and definitely not Barclay) climbed a mountain in their previous lives and Albie was a little windswept! 😅🐾

Rogue was living her best life and was almost adopted by about 4 families who she made friends with on the way 💕 She has come so far from the fear-reactive street dog who was terrified of men, with no recall and an off the scale prey drive (there were sheep on the way who she totally ignored and she was off lead the whole time!) 👏👏👏

It all seems very quiet today as our long stay Xmas guests, George and Lily headed home yesterday and Ralph, our family guests (and dog walking helpers!) today, after a final woodland walk 🐾💕
We are looking forward to a quiet, cosy weekend off, hiding from the weather! ❄️🌨️

Happy New Year to everyone! Humans and canines 🐾 Thank you for a wonderful 2024 and we're looking forward to seeing everyone again in 2025!

Our foster dog Barclay is loving his NYE as he has been reunited with his best friend, Ino from the shelter 💕 who being looked after by my sister Elspeth Aboud-Limer They made solid friends at the shelter and took a lot of comfort from each other so it's lovely to see them out and happy ❤️
Rogue is very happy to have her brother Rupert and Fabia to visit 🎊🎉🐾💕

Our resident feline Panthro (begrudgingly) joined in for the group photo with our visitors and boarding guests 💕🐾🐈

A beautiful day to try out a new family walk 🐾 We even managed to get above the mist for a bit and see the sun! ☀️🐾
Then this evening we were joined by little Maybelline who has settled in very well and was happy to see the mini humans, after saying goodbye to her family 💕

Christmas day 2024! 🎄⛄🎅🐾🥂
We've got a few extra celebrations this year...it's our lovely guest spaniel, Ralph's 4th birthday today 🥳 so he has had lots of extra special treats and enjoyed opening his presents all by himself! 🎁
And three firsts...Pixie's first Christmas with us, Barclay's first Christmas ever in a home after years at the shelter and our failed feral cat, Cliffy's very first Christmas inside and cosy after years on the streets 💕💕💕
Everyone has loved their day, walkies and presents! 🐾
