Saturday And Or Sunday Groom - Riding School
Yard staff required for small The Riding School, we are a friendly team of staff and volunteers and need some help on the yard on weekends.

The role will involve working with other staff and helping to supervise a team of junior volunteers ages 12 - 16. Applicant must work to a decent speed and already be able to muck out, tack up a variety of horses safely and efficiently, groom, perform other yard duties and help our juniors learn these skills. Days available are Saturdays and or Sundays 8am - 5pm.

It's Halloween!

Come down to Deen City Farm & Riding School this half term for a week of spooky fun!

Join us in your Halloween best for a chance to win a meet and greet with our donkeys in our free competition - just ask at the gate as you come in to take part.

We have arts and crafts, meet and greet with the reptiles, a session of learning all about owls and a fantastic chance to learn how to face your animal fears with Creature Courage!

Come and visit the Deen City Farm and Riding School's Pumpkin Patch!

We have pumpkins ready for a suggested donation of £1.50. All proceeds will go towards our charitable work and helping look after our animals.

We have babies!

In our avery we have a collection of zebra finches and one of our pairs has had babies. Next time you visit take a closer look and see if you can spot anymore.

Did you know, zebra finch fledglings will grow their bright adult feathers within 80 days? They use their bright feathers to help them find a mate.

We wanted to wish Samuel and Tor the best of luck with their walk tomorrow.

Tomorrow they will be walking just over 11k around Richmond Park to raise money for us.

They are both big animal lovers and are regular visitors to our Young Farmer days, they have even sponsored animals at the farm.

Today is World Mental Health Day

Anxious? Struggling to connect? Mental Health getting in the way?

Every Thursday we are joined by clients from CDARS Health and Wellbeing Programme

You can come and get involved with activities at Deen City Farm. Some of the activities will include: in our Garden - Helping to maintain our community gardens and grow produce in the nearby allotment. with our Livestock - assist in the day to day running of the farm, finding out about our animals and how to take care of them or with our Riding School - Learn how to groom horses and help with the day to day running of the stables.

Sessions run between 10am & 1pm

Acacia Care Centre Residents Enjoy a Day at Deen City Farm

We were delighted to be joined residents from Acacia Care Centre last month and delighted to hear how they enjoyed their visit to the farm

We are excited to announce that, by popular demand, Santa will be back on Deen City Farm and will be visiting our farm workshop again this year. Tickets are available to buy now to come and meet him in his new grotto.
