*IMPORTANT NEWS REGARDING FLEA, TICK AND WORMING TREATMENTS*

Our regulatory body, the RCVS, have recently made big changes to how we can prescribe and dispense anti-parasite treatments

A vet must have examined, and at that time PRESCRIBED (but not necessarily dispensed) whichever treatments and doses of medications your pet can have for flea and worming.

Please discuss with your vet your preferences of flea and tick treatments at the time of appointment or vaccination even if you do not wish to take these medications on the day.

If your pets weight changes or if you wish to take different flea and worm treatments then you may be required to come back in for a consultation. This is free if you are on the healthcare plan, but if you are not this is charged at a discounted consultation rate of £30

These are not decisions made by us, but are regulations that we must adhere to, please do not be frustrated with us and our team.

For us to DISPENSE the flea and worm medications, we need to get two people to check the products, at Caton, where we often only have one receptionist, this may mean you cannot take the product until it has been checked, you will now need to order your flea and wormers in advance to avoid delays.
