Ralph, Sundae and Laddie 🥰

Shedding season is here!! These three have dropped a serious amount of coat.

It's not just the fluffy ones that benefit from a groom!

Here’s how:

Shedding control: Short hair sheds just as much (sometimes more) than long hair. Regular brushing removes loose hairs and helps keep them off your furniture and clothes.

Skin health: Brushing stimulates circulation, distributes natural oils, and helps prevent dry or flaky skin.

Early detection: Grooming sessions are a good chance to spot lumps, bumps, ticks, fleas, or skin issues early.

Comfort: Removing dead hair and dander makes the coat feel softer and keeps the dog more comfortable.

Cleanliness: Baths as needed keep them smelling fresh and reduce allergens.

Some short-haired breeds (like Boxers, Pugs, and Dalmatians) shed heavily year-round, so a regular grooming routine can make a big difference.

A few points though......

➡️ Please book your first appointment via message, phone or email so we can discuss you and your dogs needs and find the right service for your pup. After the first appointment you can rebook online.

🐶 Existing clients 🐶

➡️ If you're booking the first appointment of the day please select 8:30am if you select 8:45am or 9am I'll move the appointment and update you anyway.

➡️ When our apprentice starts next week I'll be tweaking appointment durations to force the diary to work more efficiently, it has some limitations! Please select your service based on the size of your dog and ignore the duration, you'll be called when pup is ready to collect. Nothing has changed.

➡️ I fully expect to have a few teething issues if I need to reschedule appointments due to clashes I'll contact you.

🌟🌟🌟We have some exciting news!! We have a new member of staff starting with us shortly!! Our very own apprentice Laura will be taking her first steps to becoming a dog groomer!!🌟🌟🌟

We'll be temporarily taking on new customers to keep Laura nice and busy so feel free to share this post and recommend us to your family, friends and any old Joe Bloggs you meet out and about with their dogs.

Please everyone give Laura a warm welcome when you meet her and be sure to direct all you comments regarding the difficulties parking on Pedder Street her way so I don't have to do the polite nod and giggle any more 🤣

Teddy, looking like Voldemort apparently 🤔🤣 I'll do Harry next time and pop a lightening bolt in his fringe! ⚡

Luna after her first ever groom, she's a natural and took it all in her stride and Ziggy back for her regular visit. 🥰

Finally Ralph, he's a newcomer to us and as good as gold, unless you touch his paws and then things get a bit spicy 🌶️

I think I've replied to all the messages from whilst I was away but if you're still waiting give me a nudge!! 😵‍💫

September's diary is looking very busy so please book if you know your dog is due a visit. Going forward please try and plan your pups next two appointments too, that will guarantee you a Christmas groom 🎄. December dates are starting to fill up and they're first come first served as usual.
