At PetWise, we have used our 8 years experience in the pet care industry to fine tune our American style doggy day care centre into a dogs idea of heaven. All staff are highly qualified and trained specialists in canine fun - the team have experience in animal care, behaviour and fitness and provide exciting, fun and a friendly service which guarantees your dog will go home sleepy and content at t

he end of the day. Through play and fun games, your dog will build confidence, develop excellent social skills, maintain good physical and mental health and decrease any stress from being home alone. All staff are highly qualified and trained specialists in canine fun. The team have experience in animal care, behaviour and fitness. We make sure we know everything about your dog so that we can tailor the day around each individual dog’s needs; whether it’s a whole day of active play, chill time in the doggy den or fun games such as bubble chasing!

Puppy Socials are on tomorrow!!!

🐾 10am - 5 months and under for small to medium breeds
🐾 11am - For large breed pups up to 1yr old

If your young pup is super confident (even if younger than 5 months) our 11am session is the best one for you!!

Do you want to learn the key puppy training skills to help you and your puppy?

Then our puppy beginner training course is perfect for you! If your puppy is 5 months or under get them booked onto our next training course starting November 16th at 9:15am!

Fireworks! Just a reminder that it is that time of year again, if your dog is scared of fireworks please do your best to collect your pup from daycare early. We have the radio on fairly loud but as it starts to get dark the fireworks around moreton tend to start.

Wednesday Scavenger Hunt! 🐾🐶

The dogs love to do scavenger hunts as they get to use their scent skills to sniff out for the tasty treats hidden within the cones and around the daycare!😆

Scent work is one of the most mentally stimulating activities for dogs and they love doing it along with their daycare friends ❤️

PUPPY SOCIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

I think a few dogs who have been to our 11am Socials have come down with a cough so we are going to cancel Puppy Socials this week to make sure it doesn't spread in Socials.

If you have any questions on kennel cough please let us know or speak to your vets. If your pup catches kennel cough it can sound like something is stuck in their throat and they can be sneazy/have a runny nose.

Unfortunately there is around a 7 day incubation period where a dog can have a cough but not show symptoms so it spreads silently.

We will be back open for socials 9th November.

(Puppy training will still be on at 9.15am)

Raya's 1st Birthday Pawty!! 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈

Monday Treat Time!! We would also like to say a big welcome back to Doug Labrador who took a break whilst his mum was on maternity leave. He was very much missed from the Monday gang and we have loved having him back with us ❤️

Nap time is just as important as all the fun we have here at PetWise!! If your day care does not have naps and is a continuous play zone then it's not an environment you want to put your dog in. All dogs need some quiet time and as you can see all our PetWise dogs love to cuddle up on the sofas together and have a snuggle ❤️. No naps = over tired and over stimulated dogs and that is not a good environment for 30 dogs mixing together. All our dogs have a good midday nap and then another in the afternoon when the hoovering is done 😴 💤. They can also take themselves off whenever they like for a lie down throughout the day.
