Hello!

I’m Claire, a newly qualified dog groomer based at The Barking Lounge in Morley.

I’m still in my early experience with dog grooming and loving every moment. 🐶 💜

I’m am looking to add to my growing doggy list of clients so if your little fur friend is in need of anything from shampoo and blow dry, nail trim to a full groom and de-sheds please feel free to give me a message!

I am currently available most nights in the week and some weekends.

MY DIARY IS BACK OPEN BABBBBYYY!!!🐶🛁🫧

As of July 27th I will be joining the lovely ladies down at The Barking Lounge Morley. This will be on a part time basis and my new working days/hours will be: Saturday 9:00-16:00 Sunday 10:00 - 16:00 Monday 09:00-18:00 Tuesday 09:00-18:00

A lot of my appointments will still be on. 1:1 basis so please don’t worry! I do understand the 8 mile difference in location can be abit of a headache however, this premises has parking and only a short walk into Morley town centre or couple of minutes drive to the white rose so loads to do well you’re waiting for your pooches! However I will not be offended if this is too far away and you have to find an alternative groomer 🥰

Our hearts go out to a fellow groomer who was taken far too soon in the awful murders of Louise, her sister and mum also.

Let’s remember her in the industry and all the love and care she would have given to the dogs just like us.
Dog groomers are one of a kind and we are such a small community it’s hard to hear this happen to one of us.
Louise your legacy will live on through dog groomers 💕🫶🏻

We are all thinking of her family and friends at this sad time

Is your pooch malting?? Madra Mor deshedding mud is amazing. We massages the mud into the skin for 10-15 minutes and the video speaks for itself. You can add this on to any groom for an extra £10 Shed Safely Mud is a deep cleaning, sweet smelling mud bath, that flows with hydrating omega oils and is pumped full of B vitamins to help prevent excessive shedding. Quench in hydration as often as needed.

Not many spaniels like being groomed but Bentley loves it 🥰

Come and groom Fergie with me…. He makes it look easy 🐾 🐶 Fergie has been coming to me every 6 weeks for over 3 years. 🛁 It’s so important to introduce grooming to every dog as early as possible. Maintaining regular grooms also helps each pooch have such a more positive experience. ✂️ Dogs who go longer between grooms have more of a negative experience as usually they need brushing out more or need to be shaved short due to matting which can be painful. 🐩Grooms for LONG HAIRED pooches or poodle mixes should always be between 6-8weeks and should be brushed and combed EVERY DAY!!!

Well that’s a wrap!!! Big thank you for my gifts it’s so lovely and thoughtful. Sol would also like to thank you for all his tips bless him. He loves working with all his furry friends. Thank you so much for you continued support this year. Can’t believe we are going into our 4th year. Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and New year and I’ll see you all in 2024! Wow what a year it’s been!!! I have NO appointments left in 2023. Thank you all for your support 🙏❤️ it’s been amazing!!! If you CAN NOT make your appointment please let me know asap as I do have a cancellation list. In the next few weeks I will be sorting out the diary for 2024. If you would like to be block booked again for the whole year please comment on this post best days/times and weekly schedule you are on. It can take me a good few weeks to do this so please bare with me. Our prices will be going up in January by a couple of pounds. We have tried to hold off as long as we can as I know everything as gone up. So please bare this in mind. Much love Kirsty 😘
