Handsome Stanley came to see vet Kostas for his annual health check and vaccination. During this, his owner mentioned there is a new lump between his toes. Just like in humans, any new lumps should be checked out to determine the cause. It's important to have regular checks with a vet to ensure any new health issues are treated appropriately. Don't forget to check in on your furry friends! Kostas administered the vaccine since there were no other health concerns following a full health check.

The beautiful Bellie popped in to see the team at our Halton clinic for her monthly weight check and flea & worming treatments. 🐕💛

Bellie is always such a joy to have in - her little tail never stops wagging when she comes through the door!

Meet the newest member of the Abbey House family, Mr. Moose, owned by our vet, Jeni. He came in to get his second vaccination with our veterinarian, Euan, as well as a full health check. At 12 weeks old, Moose weighs 11.5kg so we know he will be a big boy! We're so excited to welcome Moose to the family! Comment below with your guesses on which two breeds he might be!

As we reflect on their courage and sacrifices, we'd love to thank our loyal animal friends who bring us comfort, companionship, and protection in their own special way.

To all the heroes, human and animal alike — we remember you today and always! 🐾 🐴

We created a heartfelt remembrance display in our associate area to honour the animals who serve and their sacrifices, and will be holding a 2-minute silence at 11am across all our clinics. We invite you to share your own thoughts and memories!

Did you know dogs get allergies too?

Sweet Skyla, the Siberian Husky, came to see vet Nida at our Morley practice for her routine anti-allergy injection. This helps by reducing her itching to make her feel more comfortable. If you notice your pet is scratching more than usual, book an appointment with one of our vets for a tailored consultation. We'll see you next month Skyla!

We're so excited to introduce Paris, a new vet to Abbey House!

Paris graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2023 and became a member of the RCVS shortly thereafter. After her studies, she practiced small animal medicine in Greece and the UK, while also gaining international experience through Erasmus placements in Spain and Belgium. She has a strong interest in small animal surgery and diagnostic imaging and is committed to continuously developing her skills. Outside of work, Paris enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, and being by the sea. Join us in welcoming Paris to the Abbey House family!
