🐾 Protect Your Pup whilst having fun in the snow! ❄️

Did you know that snow and ice can stick to your dog's fur and paws, causing discomfort, cracking, and even pain? 🐶 Ice balls can form between their paw pads and in their fur, making winter walks uncomfortable for your furry friend. 🐾

But here’s the good news: with a little extra care, you can keep them happy and safe!

🌟 Tips for Snowy Walks:

🧴Apply paw balm before heading out to act as a barrier against snow and salt.

✂️Trim the fur between their paw pads to prevent ice buildup.

👐 Rub a small amount of paw balm in your hands to warm it up and gently stroke over your dogs coat to help prevent snow sticking.

🚿Remove snowballs safely: Use lukewarm water to gently melt the snowballs, or massage the area with your hands until the ice softens. Never pull or tug, as it can cause pain or damage their fur.

🫧🧺After walks, rinse and pat dry their paws to remove any salt, ice, or debris.

🧴A quick reapplication of paw balm can help soothe and moisturise their skin.

Keep your pup comfortable and pain-free all winter long! 🐕❄️

The weather is turning a bit cooler & we need to make sure our wild birds are well looked after.

At Nature Emporium, we have a large selection of hand-made bird feeders, all made using reclaimed wood 🪵 . We care about our planet & our birds.

You can also purchase a selection of seeds, suet , nuts & mealworm to refill your feeders.
