Hey all, I hope you've had a lovely festive period. I currently have this whole month off to myself, spoilt or what 🤣 Only because we have lots to do, along with planting 250m worth hedging and trees in the fields 🙈 lol

Rainbow bridge has claimed another fabulous mascot 💔🌈

Albert has unfortunately passed due to a severe blockage, despite everyone's best efforts and surgery.

I was privileged to have known and cared for him. Our love and thoughts go out to his mam Ellie and the rest of his family.

I pray you all stay safe through Storm Darragh 🤞🏻

We have full power cuts all around us, except us due to our solar battery 🙌🏻 and somehow we are even pulling in a bit solar 🤪🤣

Carrie the German Shepherd was due to go home today, but I've messaged her owner to say she can stay, no extra charge, as it's not safe for anyone to be driving in this!!! ❤️‍🩹

I've put puppy pads down, so the dogs can safely go to the toilet, as little Ginger and Chip would get swept up like a remake of Wizard of Oz if they went outside 😅 even Bailey struggled to stay on 3 legs! Ziyka is refusing to go out and I don't blame her.

Safety first everyone, your dog does NOT need to be walked! Xx

‼️ Important Information Regarding Prices ‼️

I have put this off for as long as I possibly can, since 2022, but I'm afraid I am going to have to increase my boarding rates.

With the cost of living going up, the increase in our Electric prices and the huge price hikes of our insurance, plus our other expenses, such as licence fees, treats and replacement toys etc, my wage works out at roughly £1 - £1.50 per hour! 🤪🙈 So please don't think this is due to greed.

Our prices not only reflects the quality of care and home comforts your dog gets with us, but also the amazing facilities we now offer. Our 1.5 acre fully secure dog park is the best in the North East owned by any independent boarder 🙌🏻

🛑 As of the 1st January 2025 my boarding rate will increase to £40 per day per dog.

This puts me ever so slightly higher than the local boarding kennels, by around £8. All us home boarders within the North East try and keep our prices as close as possible to each other. This is to avoid potential customers trying to pit us against each other, and to create a standard throughout the area.

⚠️ Additional Implementations ⚠️

🛑 From the 1st of January after a successful meet and greet, all dogs must complete an afternoon daycare session, before their trial night can be booked. This will be charged at £20 from 1pm - 6pm (times can be slightly altered if needs be).

🛑 Trial Nights will be 4pm - 11am at a rate of £50 per dog

🛑 Afternoon daycare: 1pm - 6pm is £20
🛑 Full days daycare: 10am - 7pm is £30

If you have dates booked in with me from 1st January and are not happy with the price increase, please message me asap so I can remove your dogs booking.

Old man Harry couldn't really see or hear me, but could follow the smell of the treats 🤣🥰 Old dogs eyes don't photograph well, as their cataracts reflect the flash, so I've added a before photo in so you can see how I've brought his spark back to his eyes 🥰 xx
