Pearls ear procedure
Pearl came in today for investigation into her sore ear. She had an anaesthetic and our vet Sarah checked her ears. The left ear was the problem. A cytology sample was taken to check in house and the ear was flushed, cleaned and the correct treatment was applied.
Maisie presented non weight bearing on her right fore. The vet noticed a small puncture wound but she was too wriggly in the consult so she had a mild sedation. The sedation worked perfectly and we were able to probe the foot. She had a small piece of glass that our vet Sarah removed. She is feeling much better and has had a post op check by one of our nurses.

We have a lovely little patient with us today 🦔
After his small wound was cleaned up he was straight to the food bowl and has brightened up!
We will hopefully set him free very soon 🌤️

For those that didn’t see our news letter. This is a deer that one of our nurses saw get knocked on the road by a car. One of our vets attended the scene, gave treatment and kept her over night. We are pleased to say she recovered well and this is her being released- something to make you smile !
