From Darla’s mum❤️: ‘Darla is only 5 months and learning a lot of things, dawgz roam free was brilliant for Darla as it gave her freedom to be off her lead and play without other dogs being around it’s such a safe space. She loved it and we will definitely be back🐾🤍’

Our strategic use of colour explained🩵💛💚💜🩷

Over the years research has shown that dogs see the world through a limited and unique colour spectrum. Human eyes have three different types of cones, which allows us to identify combinations of red, blue, and green. Dogs, on the other hand only have two types of cones and therefore can only discern blue and yellow. While humans have more cones, allowing us to see all the colours of the rainbow in their brightest form, dogs have a higher amount of rods, which helps them to see things better in low light or identify moving objects at a faster pace than you. This is why your pup might get distracted by a bird flying 40 metres away that you didn’t even notice or will bark at night at a small animal that you’re unable to see! To a dog, shades of red and green are viewed as browns or grayscale. Inadvertently, this is probably your answer as to why your dog can never find there tennis ball in the grass (they are both seen as a shade of brown) so next time your in the pet shop, think blue🩵 and yellow💛 !!

Apologies for the quiet over the festive period, the full family & dawgz team have been wiped out with this horrible flu 😷🤢
