What a amazing end to a traumatising week ❤️
After having a nightmare week, mainly because the boy ended up at the doggy drs and being on a drip Wednesday night after eating something he shouldn’t, he went and redeemed his little self today and came home the winner of his first excellent trial ❤️ he battled through the rain and some tricky areas for him but successfuly found all the hides, including the high and inaccessible ones , just skipping one in a selection box ❤️😀

A long but fun day was had yesterday taking part in some CPD for foundation and pre entry judging down in Bedfordshire ❤️ I am now officially a early level judge for The NNA 😀

So here’s a big shout out to the one matriarch of the group ! The steady golden oldie who has taught so many dogs how be a dog in the bestest of ways !

We had a great day with our learners sniffing around the veterans retreat in Mow Cop ❤️ sniffing our way through many challenging outdoor elements and introducing the dogs to the idea that hides maybe out of reach 😀even the weather held out while we sniffed for a good cause..❤️

We are now an official ORT train and test provider for The National Nosework association ❤️

The national Nosework association runs great scentwork competitions and training days in many varied real life venues, allowing you to work and train your dogs in a wide variety of settings 😄

Take a look at their website to see what a ORT entails, they can be run alone if chosen and no need to enter the competitions just to do them 😄 they do pose there own challenges !

A ace night back at scent club after the summer holidays ❤️❤️ Everyone was so happy to be back and aced all the searches 😁
We started of with some nice quick, motivational finds and then started to teach the dogs that they could sniff further away without help and finished off with a nice little perimeter search 😁
