Are you ready for the most amazing cross breed? Do we give it a name? or is it simply a cross breed? Whatever you feel, these dogs are a cross between the Border Collie and the Poodle (all sizes)
We call the cross Border Colloodles. The parents have been carefully selected for temperament, looks and above all health.
Our aim is to produce highly trainable, Healthy Pets for folks specifically wanting fluff (long hair), unusual colours and patterns, great character, extraordinary brains, agility and energy. Hybrid Vigour (Increased vigor or other superior qualities arising from the crossbreeding of genetically different plants or animals) because of genetic diversity this usually produces a progeny which is healthier and stronger than either purebred parent, but it only really works for just one generation so only in the first cross. Hybrid Vigour is proven to work and is used extensively in the livestock and plant breeding industries so why not for your next Pet Dog? To help Hybrid Vigour we have ensured that both registered purebred parents have been fully health tested for the diseases which regularly affect each breed and can guarantee that our Border Colloodle’s will never be affected by CEA, IGS, TNS, PRA, Von Willebrand Type 1, Malignant hyperthermia. The puppies are reared using a combination of scientifically proven programs like Puppy Culture and Avidog, (google them) born in the house, handled daily since birth to leaving home, our method has worked successfully for us for over 30 years breeding GSD, Gundogs, and Border collies and Poodles. Every one of these special cross bred dogs is different to look at, but they all have wonderful sparkling natures, being extremely clever dogs they are not for the average pet owner looking for a “cuddly couch potato”. These dogs have the most amazing brains taken from their parents, the Poodle, famed for its ability to be a loyal companion, cheeky character, full of beans and alert, capable of being taught tricks, and the partner a Border collie, the world’s most intelligent breed, a dog developed for centuries by shepherds as his working companion, a breed famed for its ability to think for itself and find solutions for the safety of the flock whilst out of sight and sound of the shepherds instruction, a breed with enormous stamina, tenacity and agility, all the while being highly trainable, but with the downside of being able to train its unwitting owners equally well. Do you have what it takes to handle this fluffy package of potential Einstein or disaster? Do you have the time to stimulate these dogs’ brains? Do you have the knowledge to be one step ahead of their reasoning powers? Perhaps you want to do Dog Agility or Obedience? Suitable for training as a service dog for disabled, search and rescue, medic alert dog. Do you have the energy to keep up with their speed and agility and never ending demand to make things move? (We do select for the "off switch" in the Border collie mothers to help you keep up)
Can you either regularly groom and trim this dog yourself or afford to take him/her to the grooming parlour every 6 to 8 weeks? Please note that we cannot guarantee (nobody can) if this pup will by Hypoallergenic (not trigger allergy reactions). We are happy to take the puppy back if you are purchasing it because of the potential to be hypoallergenic and it still triggers allergic reactions, for a full purchase price refund within 7 days, or at any time of your life with the dog (refund not guaranteed after 7 days). The pups will be regularly dewormed, the mother fully vaccinated and the pup will be Titre tested at 7.5 weeks to assess their immunity to Parvo, Distemper and Infectious Hepatitis, this Titre level will offer a guide as to when the puppies will require their first vaccinations and will hopefully allow you to take your puppy out and about, with reduced risk, much sooner than normal. Pups will go to new homes at 8 weeks with four weeks free insurance and a puppy pack which includes loads of advice and training videos’. We also want you to bring your dog back to us if your circumstances change and you are unable to keep them we will help you re-home your dog. I hope my legacy to the world are the dogs who gave me the best life and the knowledge I have passed on.

So true. Feeling this right now, due to being seriously let down, cut out, and unsupported, misunderstood by someone I thought was a friend, who I could trust to be on my side. When you have "friends" like that, you might as well have the haters in your life.
Now working on emergency solutions to rescue my health, livelihood and future earning power, and the welfare and future of my four legged friends who have given me the best life and never let me down.
All whilst battling the "not fit for purpose" NHS Protocols and the feeling like I will not survive the next minute let alone the rest of the day.
When use of your arms, hands and legs makes you struggle to move, even breath and talk, but yet the work must be done to protect my dogs, and stop vultures taking them away at far less than they are worth and more importantly ensuring the absolute best homes according to my application process which has been in place for over 20 years.

If I am unable to communicate at any point or I am found dead, my wishes are that I have a full enquiry and autopsy to establish my vascular, lymphatic and any other cause, especially into the NHS lack of reasonable care as per their set up guidance before the government continued to destroy NHS by pulling funding for consultants and equipment being out of date and having to work under pressure which would put all other businesses closed years ago, this has decimated our human rights that the government should be ensuring to prevent unnecessary suffering to its citizens, the NHS staff cannot do what they need to because of burocracy and red tape and lack of funds to go all the way to a full diagnosis/proper treatment etc for people with complex movement and brain disorders.
My experience will/must be fully documented and used to improve the life of both humans and canines.

Hope this video on vegus nerve helps everyone here. I am sittiing in hospital (for two weeks) with still to no diagnosis. I know I have, from my own private imaging, both jugular and artery issues. But sadly in over 2.5 years, have failed to get action to investigate the numbness, pallor and weakness of my limbs telling them it was serious,
I could not convince the doctors that my vegus nerve may also be involved as my breathing and digestion and pretty much everything else is going haywire.
I have private ct imaging showing my vascular issues, it has taken two weeks to persuade the NHS to look at those images and stop going looking for cancer or stroke.
I would not even be at this point of diagnosis if I had listened to a dozen different consultants who told me I had Functional Neurologic disorder for the last two years.
I have made my own diagnosis of subclavian artery maybe also vein, jugular compression, vegus nerve not working causing terrible mind fog anxiety difficulty dealing with people, balance issues.
Once the NHS finally do their job, I trust the damage to my vascular system and nerves can still be repaired. Shocked with the lack of modern thought in the NHS. They are 20 years out of date in pretty much everything.
Thank god our vets keep more in tune with advances and my dogs have recieved top care even if I have been made to suffer at the hands of a broken NHS strangled both in funds and medical advancement by our government.
In the meantime, please I desperately need help with the dogs at home, I have a friend looking after the dogs very well, but they are not well themselves and need help so they can rest.

The CMA, an opportunity to assess the veterinary industry, not a free for all to abuse veterinary teams.
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is there to ensure proper conduct of all licensed persons and market institutions, investigating anti-competitive behaviour. The CMA's mission is to make markets work well in the interests of consumers, businesses and the economy.
The CMA investigate all kinds of businesses, from childcare, landlords and private renting and now veterinary.
Following identification of a few key topics, the CMA provisionally decided it should launch a formal Market Investigation after initial review prompts over 56,000 responses from public and vet industry.
It found:
➡️Consumers may not be given enough information to enable them to choose the best veterinary practice or the right treatment for their needs.
➡️Concentrated local markets, in part driven by sector consolidation, may be leading to weak competition in some areas.
➡️Large corporate groups may have incentives to act in ways which reduce choice and weaken competition.
➡️Pet owners might be overpaying for medicines or prescriptions.
The regulatory framework is outdated and may no longer be fit for purpose.

All veterinary practices need to generate income, veterinary teams are people, who are rarely paid as much as the public believe, and have homes, hobbies and dependants to support.
So, we do need to charge a fee for our services, just as you do in your line of work.
Unfortunately, over the years, there has been a distinct lack of charging for our professional skill and time, and as veterinary practices often have high overheads, there is often a mark up on medicines. We can also only get our medicines from certain suppliers, and cannot compete with large online pharmacies who work by bulk buying and on skeleton staff. It is no surprise that online pharmacies can work cheaper, this happens across many sectors, but online may not always be as convenient. Every practice has a unique and different pricing structure, with the aim of being a thriving business and keeping staff in employment.
Going forward, we might need to change the way we work. We might need to assess medicine costs, we might therefore need to charge more for our professional service fees, we might need to have a more transparent pricing system, although this is often difficult where there are scales of pricing depending on the patients individual factors. There are many 'mights'. We currently don't know the outcome of answer to this.
There are many things that may need to change, one of the things that doesn't change is that we are people. We are people who often have no say over practice pricing structure. We are people who put our heart and soul into giving the best veterinary care we can. We are people who hurt, who feel sadness and disheartened. We are people in a profession with high mental health burdens.
