Glorious weather today meant a ride up the hill for Galahad and Daisy. We will be open for riding again from the start of March, and we are now taking bookings... 😀

We are looking for additional volunteer helpers to join our Team when we re-open in March. This opportunity would suit a local person who has some spare time... Maybe retired, unemployed, part time worker or a student. If you are over 18yrs old, available for one day a week or more, and would like some horse time, then please read on....

We are looking for a couple of additional Helpers who are reliable, enthusiastic, polite, hard working and have some previous experience working with, riding and handling horses. Duties include catching in/out, grooming, cleaning tack, tacking up, leading horses/customers and basic stable duties. This is a Volunteer role with training and plenty of riding available in exchange for helping when we are busy. There will be additional riding opportunities available for competent riders including taking part in local Fun Rides, Pub Rides etc. *Please note that strict rider weight limits apply for all riding*. Own transport would be a bonus as we are 3 miles from the A478.

The calm after the Storm.... Storm Bert blew a hoolie through and heralded the start of Winter. All the horses are rugged, and this year, we managed to harvest a bumper crop of haylage, so hopefully, we have enough extra feed to last until the Spring!

Well that's the Trekking season finished for 2024! We've enjoyed some super rides through spectacular scenery, and we've welcomed customers both old and new.... Making unforgettable memories of a lifetime. Thank you to all our lovely customers - here are a few more photos from this Season...

The ponies are now enjoying their well deserved Winter break, and we will be open again for riding from March 2025.

We will be open for riding for a few days over October Half Term, but there are only limited spaces available.

If you would like to book, be quick or be disappointed.

Please note:

For safety reasons, we do not take non-riders or Complete Beginners on the Mountain rides. All riders must be competent to steer, stop and control the horse without being on a lead rein for these rides.

We do offer a 1hr Intro Combo session for non-riders. Please check our website for details.

We can arrange most things but unfortunately we can't control the weather - please wear suitable clothing for your ride! Yes we do ride in the rain but if there is a Met Office Severe Weather warning, for safety reasons, some rides may be cancelled/postponed or a credit issued.

We enjoyed a fantastic Full Day Picnic Ride with our customers last week. Here are a few photos from the day. If the weather holds, we are hoping to offer another Full Day Ride to the Tafarn Sinc pub before the end of the Season. Thought that I would share just a few of our amazing views from last week...

We only take limited numbers out on the mountain, so be quick or miss out! Booking in advance means several days in advance. If you leave your booking until the night before, or the day that you want to ride, then you will be unlucky!
