Could you be Kobi’s new cuddle buddy?
Kobi is 8 years old and he has been at the kennels for 3 years and was in another kennels before us and has spent most of his life in kennels. He is a very affectionate boy and loves a cuddle.
Kobi is traffic reactive and guards his food so would need an experienced home but once he knows and trusts you he is a big love bug. He would require a few meets as he is wary of strangers.
Kobi cannot live with children, dogs or cats. Kobi is available for foster or adoption by donation, please give him a chance and don’t let him spend any longer in kennels.

We have another 20 tonnes being delivered late morning. This is the final amount! As you can see we have nearly done it!

Sasha is extremely stressed in the kennel environment, he is 7 years old and has never been in a home. He has started spinning in his kennel and only stops when someone is in with him, he is constantly panting and he is very nervous so it would be great if we could find him a foster home that would give him the time and company that he needs.
He would need someone who is willing to give him his space and not be fussed about wanting to touch him constantly as he is very nervous and isn’t confident enough to be with someone who wants a hands on dog. We’re sure he will be affectionate with time but in the beginning he will need to be left to come over himself rather being forced into it.
He is getting used to having walks and is doing a lot better than he was but still needs to build his confidence. He would need a child free home due to his nervousness. If anyone would be willing to offer this sweet boy a foster home then please get in touch.

Nose To Trail has been very generous in offering us a free membership to their online training hub and will also be coming down to help work with some of our long timers to help work on their behavioural issues to increase their chances of finding a home. They’ll be showing the staff how to work on their issues as well as training and enrichment strategies that can be put in place to help with stress in the kennels. They are also offering a discount to any adopters of our dogs to help with any difficulties that may arise when bringing them into your home. We are so grateful for their generosity and excited for what’s to come and hopefully get some of our long timers into a home. 🏡

⭐️Transport Fundraiser⭐️
We couldn’t turn away after seeing a video of the dogs at a Bosnian public shelter.
It was more than 40 degrees and the rescuer was on film showing their paws and saying the were burning on the hot concrete.
The dogs were literally trying to jump into her arms to escape, it was heartbreaking.
She was crying, we were crying and we had to help.. we couldn’t turn a blind eye.
We now just have to get them here and raise their £255 ticket.
The Bosnian dogs are all super confident, friendly, cat and child tested.

They will be joining both Kevin and Minx who are coming over in a couple of weeks. We need to raise £225 for each dog to be able to bring them over. We have a little bit left over from Kevin and Minx’s fundraiser so I’m confident between us we can raise the funds 🩷🥳

An emotional morning at Osh today. After 2 years in Kennels’s, Saxon has finally gone off to his forever home!!🏡❤️
Saxons owners have been coming every weekend since May. This is what dedication looks like, and it’s proof that it pays off!
Thank you both so much for the treats you have bought the dogs each weekend, the very special cushion you got us to remember him always, and most importantly giving Saxon the chance he desperately needed!❤️
We are all so so happy for you all and we wish you all the best! Enjoy the best life now handsome boy! 💙

Before and after pics for today!!
We cannot believe as a group of around 15 we managed to move the best part of 40 tonnes of sand today in just 3 hours 😱
The teamwork and effort that every single person put in is so overwhelming- even the kids that turned up didn’t shy away from hardwork 💕
Some of the dogs got to test out the paddocks after, check out the comments below, they speak for themselves and we think they approve 🐾
This will make such a difference for the staff and dogs, instead of getting covered in mud or not being able to use them in the bad weather.
We will be getting another 20 tonnes delivered 😅 hopefully some point Monday morning, keep your eyes peeled for a post to confirm, if you can help out it would be amazing and should finish it off!

We are in full swing at OSH this morning with an amazing turnout of just wonderful people!! I am absolutely blown away at the fact we have moved at least 25 tonnes of the sand in just 1 1/2 hours.
To say the sweat is flowing is probably an understatement and all of us probably won’t be able to walk or pick up a cuppa tomorrow, but it’s all worth it for the dogs 🐾💕🥰

Ebony is growing old with us 😢
We feel like we have let Ebony down, we just can’t seem to find her a home and it’s heartbreaking
We had hoped she would find a home quite quickly, an older girl of 6 years.. she really deserves someone to choose her.
But no one has, no one has turned up for Ebony.. other dogs have been chosen and Ebony is left in her kennel waiting.
So here we go, we have told Ebony to put on her best smile for these pictures.

Bear is one of our ‘stuck’ dogs 💔
We just can’t believe how long Bear has waited for a home 😔
Bear is 2 years old and has spent his entire life in both kennels in Romania and now here.
Saved from one of this most horrific kill shelters.. he’s just still waiting for someone to adopt him.
But he’s received no interest, no applications, he has no meets, no one has chosen him 😔
Bear is just ‘stuck’ .. and we feel so awful for him.
Bear is a fun and cheeky boy, full of personality. He will need a home who can put into place boundaries and help him learn how to behave inside a home- all he’s ever known is kennels.
Bear is adoption by donation only, not our normal fee, we simply want to find him a home.

Walks in the sun for Jake and JiJi! ☀️☀️
This lovely pair are still looking for a place to call their own.
Jake has been with us for 2 and a half years!! 😔 He is now starting to struggle with kennel life, so we’re desperate to try and get him his forever home for Christmas 🙏
Jake needs an adult only home with someone who can help work on his reactivity. He is such a sweet boy who loves to be outside with you or playing with his toys.
Jiji has been with us for over a year and despite having several meets, unfortunately nobody has ever chosen her.
Jiji is very nervous of new people so will need a quieter home where she has plenty of room for herself to go into if she needs to.
She again is so gentle and loves those she trusts💕
Jake and Jiji can live with another dog following successful meets.
They cannot live with cats 🐈
Both are available for foster or adoption via donation.

Working in rescue is the best job in the world, but also the toughest. This is how we see the dogs, all day every day. Just wanting your attention, and giving you the best love in the world, despite going through things we could never imagine. We have some dogs who manage kennel life, and others who really struggle. The dogs know how much they are loved here and we make kennels as homely as possible for them, but as we all know, there’s no place like home 🏡 We still have so many dogs at Osh who have been with us for 3 years, some just a little less 😔 These dogs need a very specific, experienced home. All adult only, and a lot of them pet free. They all have their own personalities and own fears about things in life, but can you really blame them? Most have been through unimaginable things, and others have witnessed these as well. But with the right people, a lot of patience, and most importantly, plenty of love. These dogs really are so special, and make the most loving companions❤️ We only have a few months left of this year, but we want to make it the best year possible, and see our long stayers get their second chance, and finally be free of kennel life. All of our long stayers are available for foster, or adoption via donation. We know there’s the right home for each dog somewhere. We just need to find them, and with your help we can. Reactive pups 🩵
Taking our reactive dogs to a quiet/trigger free spot and watching them be at peace for a while is such a heartwarming experience ☺️ Our reactive dogs naturally have less interest. If anybody has any experience in reactivity we have many dogs in need of a home still 🙏 We understand this is a harder ask. But we hope there are homes out there! 🤞🏼 Underneath their tough shells they are just little babies in need of some extra love and attention!🥹❤️
