A casual catch up with Theo Paphitis 🐉 ☕️

Back in February when we exhibited at Spring Fair, NEC Birmingham, Theo Paphitis said to us next time he was up North at his Crewe HQ for business he would pop into Charlie + Co for a coffee. Never did we think that anything would actually come from it BUT true to his word, he arranged to pop in this morning!

He spent 45mins chatting with us about all things business and ofcourse, dogs! 🐶

A genuine lovely man who is a huge advocate for small businesses.

2023 👋🏽

This year has been a testing year in many ways, which I guess is a sign of a year where we didn’t just choose the easy option.

Though we’ve got SO much to be proud of this year we’ve also made difficult decisions and a fair few mistakes along the way. I never want to sound ungrateful or negative but the truth is that running a business can be a rough ride. One thing that has kept us going through the good and the bad this year is the support of our INSANE team and AMAZING customers, we genuinely couldn’t be more grateful for you all! 🙏🏼❤️

But for you, our customers both locally and afar, how LUCKY we are to have you! In a year that’s been tough for many, to have your support means the most. You FULLY embrace the craziness from Dog Mum Afternoon Tea to Santa Paws.. you’re here for it all.

However I don’t just mean financially.. it really is something special when you have customers who check up on you, who recommend you, who encourage you, who share your social media posts and tag you in their own. Thank you all, you have no idea how much it makes my day to hear that we were recommended by a friend or to see your dogs wearing our products, it’s a feeling that I will never ever get bored of.

Tough times don’t last, tough people do. With each hurdle we face we learn, we adapt and we carry on! And with that… we’re ready for you 2024!
