We have been so busy over the summer so if you may not know that Mia and lucky had the amazing opportunity to go to a training camp at Talland!! Yes Talland!!! Owned by the Hutton family 🧡
Lucky was absolutely brilliant!! Totally thrown in the deep end and boy did he swim!!! They had lessons on the flat with Pammy Hutton! Amazing!! Showjumping and cross country training with Brian Hutton! And dressage lessons on the schoolmasters with Pippa!
What she learnt was invaluable and an experience she’ll never forget!!
Thank you Pembrokeshire pony club for giving her the opportunity and making her so welcomed into your club. Don’t panic she’s still in VOT club, but proud of how she represented our club while she was away! ❤️

Poppy & Joey at pembrokeshire county show 2024! Big show for this pair! Only been together a few weeks and Joey can be, well a little spicy 🌶️! 💥 when he wants too!! Anyway they had a fab 2 days! Having a 4th on day one, when the sun shine was with us! ☀️ day 2 🌧️ 🌧️ 🌧️ we looked like downed 🐀 when we got back on the box! But 🥈 🥈 to come back with!

Poppy & Brandy finished 5th at pony club regional championships at rectory farm! First time for this pair riding grassroots and scoring a whopping 72 %! 🤩 so glad Brandy has recovered well after his injury.

Hay all, sorry not posted much been so busy over the summer! Anyway, lucky update!!! He went to his first ever dressage few weeks back and came home with 2 🥈 🥈!!! And some not bad scores too!!! 😉 loads to work on!! And keeping his head 🤯 as he did have a moment when he decided that a 12 hand pony had layed down the gauntlet for a race!!! 😝 🤦🏼‍♀️ and was next down the centre line!! 😝 anyway Mia sorted him and did a good test! His old owner came to watch also so was a special moment for team ❤️

Super pleased with this little dude! Poppy loved riding him and can’t wait for next show!! Joey mum also very happy with his pony party debut in the show ring!! ❤️

The boys finally back out after what seams like a lifetime!! So some of u may not know Brandy pulled a tendon back in new year and after a long session on box rest and very slow rehabilitation Brandy is back! And on top form!!! Smashing himself a 72.13 % and winning the grassroots at area 18 dressage over the weekend!! Poppy’s first ever attempt on grassroots too! Also qualified for regional championships too! They certainly are a dream team together!! ❤️
Mia also had a quick spin on Brandy in the novice! And yes u guessed it! Won her arena on a 66.5 % and qualified for jcb championships!
Moonpig - after a tricky year last year with intermittent lameness, and being diagnosed with arthritis in most joints and neck we were expecting him to just be a happy hacker! But thankfully with good supplements to help his joints, and physio he is feeling on top form! A fair dressage test in the grassroots with a 64 % did the trick and won 🥇individual section and gained himself his ticket for regional championships! 4th year running now! 😉
Poppy also had a quick spin! And it was quick on a good friends pony, Joey, he produced a good test but was tense in the words of the judge! Area dressage was very exciting for Joey after a winter off and first time back out!! Will be a nice partnership in the making! Watch this space!! ….. 🥰

Happy 10 yrs got you day Ted!!! First photo is the day he came to us, then his partner in crime poppy at there first show together!! He has certainly been a pony in a million to both girls, such a lovely boy and had so much fun with him. Ted is currently relaxing in the field with his friend sassy living there best life of retirement ❤️

So team little kings has had a very strange and long winter!! We have had a sad time losing little Jacob our mini shetland who was a friend to everyone. Poppy especially was gutted to lose him 💔 😢.
We have battled to keep Moonpig sound as found he has arthritis, he is 20 now, and would love him to continue with his work even if just showing and dressage.
Brandy 😭 pulled a tendon!!! We had so many plans for him this year!!! Wow did we!! But he’s done 3 months box rest, and still on his road to recovery ❤️‍🩹 so no pressure with him, we just want him sound and comfortable. So watch this space….
Lucky our new addition, has settled in well, Mia and him are working on there partnership! It’s coming along nicely, again no rush, when he’s ready! Watch this space ….
Today poppy took Moonpig out to our pony club show and as u can see came home well dressed!!! Fantastic day!!! She rode him really well, and he looked amazing! Maybe a partnership to watch …… thanks for all your 👍 ❤️ 😉 nice to be back out!!
