So on New Year’s Eve day I backed my first homebred!
I hadn’t planned to do it then, but everything just felt right so I went ahead! 😁
I can’t describe the feeling of starting one that I bred and watched being born. A moment that seemed a lifetime away finally arrived. Still in my joggers as I was not planning on climbing on, but when the moment presents itself there was no time to go get changed to make the perfect photo. So here it is and I’m proud of this moment. My first homebred standing relaxed and happy with me on board!!

Another successful outing today for Emerald Gloria and CNS Cattleya. Gloria was on fine form and improving all the time! Couple of rider errors today but she still gave me two solid tests and two seconds 😃🥈she’s a cool customer 😎😎
May also tried hard for me today, a couple of spooks inside the boards and a few tense moments, but got right back to it for fourth place in the first test and third in her last test. Very pleased with both girls!! 🥰
