Mr Zeus ❤️‍🩹
Heartbroken to say that the lovely, funny, sweet Zeus passed away last week. Not hard to see that I was a little (big) bit obsessed with him. As much as he preferred to stay in his pyjamas in his double bed than go on a walk I’m sure he would admit that he would really enjoy himself once he was finally out. Not if it was raining though. Or cold 😂
His personality was one of a kind and I can’t help but laugh whenever I think of him.
Thank you Zeus for allowing me to be your dog walker (slave) for the past 5 years. I know wherever you are there’s a big comfy bed but please make sure you get out for a walk at least once a day 😇🐾❤️

✨🤍Lovely Lelo 🤍✨
Sharing these precious memories of the most special soul Lelo who sadly passed away almost 2 weeks ago. To say I had a soft spot for Lelo would be an understatement I absolutely LOVED her. Everyone did.

I was lucky enough to be Lelos dog walker for 5 years and had some of the best times with her. She reminded me of a glamorous gran. Well one that liked swimming, mud, rolling in things and eating anything 😂 She was a typical lab. Even when she lost her eye sight I would joke that I was her guide dog. I often found myself right behind her, water passed my wellies still holding her lead so she didn’t miss out on her swim 😂

Lelo lived a beautiful life and was cared for like a queen by her lovely family. Thank you Lelo for being the best girl it’s been a privilege to know and love you. Ps I’m sure Skye, Meg and Arthur was there to greet you and guide you on your next big adventure 🤍🌙✨

Trust your gut ❕
In this case the “dog owner instinct”. As most people know it’s been 9 weeks today since my darling Arthur passed away.

On the 2nd Feb I found a tiny patch of dry skin on Arthur, underneath was a pea sized solid lump. I work with a lot of dogs some who have lumps and bumps of all shapes and sizes so I’m used to them. This one felt different.

Straight to the vets the next day. “Nothing to worry about Arthur is perfect” given cream to treat dermatitis.
Over the next few days this lump GREW. Back to the vets where the vet still wasn’t convinced by my concerns. But I wanted it removed asap.

Fast forward a week. After surgery to remove the lump we had the phone call to say Arthur has a type of lymphoma with a poor prognosis the only option is PALLIATIVE CARE. Hate those words.
126 days later he died. Just over 4 months💔

If this lump wasn’t removed he most likely wouldn’t have lived longer than 6 weeks. Sadly for Arthur the lump returned in the same place 2 months later and the cancer was spreading. We tried everything to prolong his life. From an holistic approach to being referred to an oncologist. A new strict diet, supplements, herbal remedies, prescription medications. Sadly this didn’t prolong his life enough but it absolutely gave him an amazing quality of life where he lived it to the fullest. Moral of the story is when something inside tells you something isn’t quite right about yourself, your child, your pet. Get it checked. Could be absolutely nothing but could be life changing.

I’m sorry if this seems like a depressing post to what I would usually post. But in reality I’m hearing so many stories of dogs suffering as a result of not getting the correct diagnosis and treatments they deserve. Trust your instincts they’re there for a reason ❤️
