We hope you all have a lovely night, whatever you’re doing.

Thankyou for all of your support in 2025, our opening year. It’s been lovely to meet so many new faces and welcome familiar faces to a new location!

We are back open at Needham Friday at 8 but if you need help before then just call 01449 797111 to be connected to our on call vet Soph at Bury.

If you need us today then call 01449 797111 and you will be directed to our on call team at Bury.

Our Vet Carly and RVN Jessie I will be on call if you have an emergency today and our Very own Keira and Anna will be joined by the Bury pair of Emily and Tina if you get in a spot of bother on Boxing Day.

Pearl was in with us yesterday as she was feeling a bit under the weather.

During her stay with us her treatment was planned and guided by our vet Nat, with our nurse Keira and ANA Anna making sure she received everything she needed to get her back on good form in time for Christmas.

🎄 Christmas Opening Hours 🎄

With 5 days to go we thought we’d best share our Christmas opening hours.

We close early on the 24th and 31st December.

If you do need us at all over the festive period then please do call 01449 797111. If we are not open you will be directed straight to our Bury St Edmund’s team.

We operate clinics from our Bury practice 9am-12pm on both Boxing Day and New Year’s Day for any urgent issues as well as the usual weekend clinics.

If neither practice is open you will be automatically connected to our on call vet!

As us and Bury are sister practices whichever practice you are seen at our teams will have access to your pets records, making continuity of care much easier for you and your pet.

Please do check your medication stocks if your pet is on long term medications to ensure you have enough to get through the festive period.

This handsome chap Rufus is very much ready for Christmas. He has asked Santa for some extra tasty snacks and in return he has promised that he will try to avoid the temptation of stealing Keira’s Christmas dinner!

We would love to see your pets getting in the Christmas spirit and to know if they’re made Santas naughty or nice list this year.

The face of a dachshund caught doing something she shouldn’t be doing….

Will she do it again….. in a heartbeat!

Dory is the smallest of Carly’s 5 dogs and is also the naughtiest. She’s a long term resident on Santas naughty list.

If you ever can’t find Kirsty on the front desk you can be sure to find her in cat ward! This self proclaimed crazy cat lady can’t help but sneak in a cuddle. Gizmo was more than happy oblige and enjoyed her cuddles this week!

Ellis is 16.5 years young and came in for a dental this week with Lottie and got ALLLLLL the cuddles from "mum" AKA Izzy!

Proving that age is just a number, he cruised through his anaesthetic, had full mouth x-rays to diagnose some painful teeth, had the bad ones out and the healthy ones scaled up to give him his colgate smile back!

I am pleased to report that he is recovering like a champ.

If you think your pet may have a painful mouth or just a bit of a stinky breath, we run completely FREE nurse dental checks and can make sure your pet has a happy, healthy smile! Or, if not, recommend some treatment to get them feeling their very best again!

This week our first cohort of Helen’s puppy preschool finished their course with a few new experiences. All of them have been absolute super stars and have taken everything in their stride!

Our puppy preschools run on Tuesday Evenings for 4 consecutive weeks, 7-8pm. Contact us for more info or to sign your pup up.
