Our pets are part of the family and we want to share fun experiences with them – including taking them on holiday! 🐕🐕‍🦺🐈☀️✈️
While this often results in great fun and wonderful memories, there are a few things to consider first. .
To travel with your pet to an EU country or Northern Ireland, there are some requirements your pet will need before you travel. We would recommend that you start the process at least four months before your journey.
You will be required to obtain an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) for them. An AHC needs to be issued by an Official Veterinarian (OV).

This is Harper she walked down to see us earlier this week.
Why not take advantage of the lighter evenings by going for a gentle stroll with your dog? You do not have to pound the pavements to reap the benefits: just 30 minutes of walking a day is enough to increase cardiovascular fitness, strengthen bones and boost your mental health.
Please comment or post a picture below of your favourite place to walk your dog?

We had a different type of animal in today. 🦊
Isn't she sweet?

If you come across a sick or injured wild animal, it’s best to phone your local vet or rehab centre before you try to catch them. They will be able to give you advice on how best to do this. You can also make sure they are set up to care for that species.
If you do need to catch one, remember to be careful.
- Some can also spread diseases, especially if they bite you.
- Wear gloves if possible – gardening gloves work well.
- Catch the animal with a towel.
- Move the animal to a transport box with holes. Be gentle placing them inside. Put a thick towel over the box to make it dark and dull sound to help keep the animal calm. Take them straight to the vets or rehab centre but remember to call up first so you know they can take them!!
