New winter schedule

🦄❄️🦄 Winter Schedule 🦄❄️🦄

New changes and classes:

Starting on 1st September:
🤠 Into to Western group @ 11:30 on Sundays. Small group of 4.
🎃Halloween riding to music @ 2:00 on Sundays. 8 spaces. Regular attendance required to work on final performance.
🐴 Youth western Riding group @ 2:30 on Saturdays. For riders aged 18 & under. (Youth team based)

This Emerging Leader has achieved international titles in many western disciplines competing at the World Equestrian Games, and the European Championships.

Tammy is proud to be an AQHA Professional Horseman, a Western Equestrian Society Level 2 Instructor, and a British Horse Society Accredited Professional Stage 4 Dressage Coach. She uses her passion every day to improve the equine industry and share her knowledge as she coaches riders of all skill levels. We are pleased to say we are now looking for a new Team Member to join us at Burley Villa due to increased demand for riding.
We need a bright and cheerful person to teach beginner and novice lessons as well as help with Children`s sessions. You will need to have a positive encouraging manner , putting customer care first.
This is a part time position. Some teaching experience is required.

Another annual licensing inspection passed. Huge thank you to Phil & Lisa and all the staff for making it all possible and the yard looking fantastic. High praise from the vet on the turnout of the horses and efficiency of the presentations. 55 years established!

Today is a sad day. Our beloved Coyote crossed the 🌈 bridge today at the grand age of 34. He was the last of our original Western trail riding horses. Over the years he has taught SO many different people to ride. He was one a million. A trail horse who could look after beginners in the forest & also compete with the best of them in the show ring. An incredible school master with a wicked sense of humour! Out hacking he really was the closest you could get to bombproof (give or take the snacking on the way round!) in the arena, If you pulled those reins unnecessarily you were going to stand face first in the naughty corner whether you liked it or not!! 🤣 so many fun memories. The last 15 or so years he’s been a field companion to Magic and they both between them enjoyed their retirement to the fullest, destroying any and all pieces of wood, coz why not?! (Phil & Dad must be kept busy!) He never missed the sound of a feed bucket or packet of treats opening and would come across the field eagerly, even if it was in slow motion💜 He shall be thoroughly missed by Magic & us all. Tonight I hope he is running free with his bestie Concho and all the other OG western boys. Sleep tight Mr C, thank you for everything ###

BHS RIDE SAFE COURSE

*** BHS RIDE SAFE COURSE***

Starting on Sunday February 18th @ 12:30 & runs for 3 weeks. 1 1/2hr sessions. Costs £165 plus additional £15 for your challenge pack.

The Ride Safe Silver Challenge Award includes the Ride Safe guide, providing practical examples, tips and guidance to help you stay safe when riding in all situations including:
Riding safely on the road, along rights of way, across agricultural land, at the beach and when warming up at competitions. Negotiating hazards. Understanding common signs
Dealing with conflict or difficult situations when riding out. Negotiating obstacles.

The Ride Safe Silver Challenge Award is required to be completed as part of some of our Career Pathways:
