Meet the tenacious Miss Daisy Mae. Daisy is 18 and as you can see, loving life.
Not that long ago Daisy's Mum and Dad, Janine and Mark were hit with a dilemma. Daisy needed a dental and had painful mouth abscesses which repeated antibiotics and pain medication were not touching. Due to age and wobbly heart, vets did not want to put her out to perform the dental, plus any vet visit was incredibly stressful and caused much trembling.

Rabbits naturally forage. To ensure rabbits do not get depressed, or bored, and to save them from developing upsetting behaviour, we explore ways you can keep them entertained.
This enables them to have a healthy mind and body, plus helps keep those ever-growing teefs from getting out of hand!
Offer toys or items that create chewing opportunities. Rotating these can be a good thing. Empty toilet roll tubes, hanging toys, and wooden chew toys.

1. Weave some good quality hay into a plait and hang it from the roof or the side of the rabbit's home.
2. Cut holes in cardboard tubes, add pellets and fold both ends into itself to close. These can be laid on the ground or hung.
3. For those diggers: Fill a shoe box with ripped-up plain paper and cardboard tubes.
4. Forage box: Fill empty egg boxes with pellets, washed dandelion leaves, dried nettle, clover, cow parsley, hay balls, dill, fennel, mint, lemon balm, and leftover vegetables.

Pumpkin seeds make a great meal topper. They are rich in antioxidants, can support heart health and may support urinary health.
