I’m afraid we bring you very sad news.
On Christmas Eve night we said goodbye for now to Lucy Lou, Henri’s baby girl 💔 A one in a million girl who most certainly was a stand out, in many ways 💗

An area of significance showed up on the xray which could have been one of three things, splenic torsion and enlargement, a large intestinal torsion or a mass on the liver. Due to the size of whatever it was we could see on the xray we couldn’t be sure what organ it was coming from.
Lucy went through a lot back in September which I’m sure most of you will remember, she did incredibly well but she just wasn’t quite the same after. She is an older girl & Henri didn’t want to put her through anymore as either way, it would have been major surgery & just too much for her.
Lucy slipped away very, very peacefully in our arms 💗

We all had the honour of loving Lucy for 7 wonderful years after Henri & Jackie rescued her when she was just 18 months old after a very sorry start. She joined their family & was well…..entertaining shall we call it, pretty quickly 😉

She was loved unconditionally & bought so much love, laughter & “Oh my god no she didn’t” moments! No one did life quite like Lucy, that’s for sure. No one can open doors, clear worktops, accidentally steal lunch, quite as slick as Lou 😎 or take you on a 5 mile run in half an hour 🤣

Whole heartedly, she was a big lover girl, kind and sweet & oh she captured the hearts of many, she made a huge impact on everyone she met & she was kind to every dog she met, she bought smiles to so many faces & was just an absolute beaut to be around. She really is & always will be, our special girl 💗 but above all, her daddy’s girl 💗 She loved Henri so so bloody much & their bond was just beautiful …..& hilarious!

Oh we will miss your chatter, your standing on our laps for cuddles, not letting us ever stop stroking you, taking us to the treat cupboard for extra snacks, your very vocal ‘sing song’ to alert us over whatever you thought we needed to know about!
We will miss everything about you girl, even your super savage moments, sleep well, enjoy your healing, cause loads of havoc, kiss your Brucey boy, my goodness he will he so pleased to have you back, kiss all our other angels please, eat whatever you like whenever you like & just be you because you’re perfect Lou 💗 Come pay us a visit when you’re ready darling girl, we’l be waiting.

Sleep well sweetheart, you will be loved forever & always ### So much love and healing hugs to Henri & Jackie & all the family, you gave her the most wonderful life ###

Can you believe they are 7 months old already?! Well….by the size of them actually, I guess yes 🤣
All babies are living the most wonderful lives with their totally amazing pawrents & doing very, very well 💗

Massive thank you to New Hope Animal Rescue for saying YES to this huge family back in May, if it wasn’t for you, they wouldn’t be here. You put blood, sweat & tears into this lot & just look at this perfection 😍 A huge family, ALL happy & loved beyond belief!

Beautiful lady….you know who you are & again, I cannot put into words what this means, you have literally just saved A LOT of animals, you’re giving so many a second chance.

We are still completely overwhelmed but here you have it…. The total amount raised for New Hope Animal Rescue’s Christmas raffle is an astonishing 🥁🥁🥁 £1033.00 !!!!!!!

And….That is not all!! Add on the funds raised from our Go Fund Me page + donations, also now plus the £115 Kelly’s Mobile Vet Nursing - new raised, gives New Hope a grand total of
🥁🥁🥁 £2159.09 🎉🎉🎉 & we’ve already delivered 330 trays of Forthglade as part of the Christmas Dinner scheme!!! So to get really nitty gritty in monetary terms, you’ve actually all raised a total of 🛑 £2555.09 🛑 🎉🎉🎉

We’re all a bit, well…totally shocked, overwhelmed, super emotional, ridiculously grateful & just can’t quite believe how our totally beautiful community of animal lovers have rallied together to help the most amazing rescue….quite this much!! We love you all 💗

Super 7 update ….. we couldn’t believe our eyes, they all have hair now!! Their legs are straightening, they are SOOOO happy, full of beans & SOOO much fun, they really are enjoying being happy little pups. We thoroughly enjoyed playing with them all & having cuddles, so good to see them doing so well 💗 Thank you so much to all of you that donated, shared & sent well wishes. These guys are going to have the bestest lives now ###
