Three new doggies today - Tala for her nail clip, Honey for a comfort clip (she’s an old girl and her owner likes her head and ears left long 😁) and Bear for a de-shed. Another satisfying day. 💕Love dogs 💕

Just visited and registered Smudge at Newgrange Vets (on the old A46 near Kneeton). Will and his staff were lovely - they’re looking to build the practice and I wish them well. Would definitely recommend and competitively priced.

“New” doggies today … Saffy a Golden retriever and Foxy the Jack Russell cross Cairn Terrier.
Saffy has a wonderful loving nature and Foxy (still a puppy) was very inquisitive but seemed to enjoy his first groom/handstrip.
It’s great to enjoy love and cuddles when we’ve only just met 🥰

Just had to share this beauty with you. He’s such a gorgeous handsome Giant Schnauzer and as good as gold being groomed. His favourite part - cleaning and plucking his ears; the sounds he makes has me chuckling :-)

Very pleased with Tombie’s first “grown up” groom today - she will now be recognised as a poodle and not a cockerpoo! She was as good as gold and looked absolutely adorable when I’d finished. She’s only 7 months old and we’ve yet to get used to her feet being touched so not quite got the full poodle look but nonetheless …. Feeling proud 😍🐾💕

I know it’s really early but several people are already booking 2024 grooming appointments for their beloved pets, which is great news for me. SOooooooooo, for those of you who haven’t, it may be worth thinking about 🤣
Just send me a message with suggested dates and I’ll book you in. Remember, you can always cancel, postpone or swap times but if you don’t have a slot then I can’t invent time!

This beauty filled a “cancellation” this afternoon. She’d only been collected by her new owner a few hours earlier and had been given an extremely “choppy” groom. She’d been kept in a kennel and her nails were so very long she couldn’t walk properly 😫 (they still need clipping again in a couple of weeks’) I didn’t take a “before” photo but this one is a lovely photo of her finished and tidied up. She is blind in one eye and has such a wonderful nature, she was a pleasure to groom. She simply loved the attention and the cuddles and will be very happy with her new owners ….. meet Daisy 💕🐾

Sweet 9 week old rescued Maltese cross puppy in today for a bath and tidy. New owner only had him 2 days - looking for names but “Buttons” seems top of the list at the moment 💕🐾

Dexter, the ShihTzu cross Spaniel, came in today for his very first puppy groom. Such a chilled, relaxed dog and teething (ouch!) 🤣 Just 13 weeks’ old and full of fun and loving cuddles. What a cutie!!

New “Bruce” was in for a spruce today 🤣 His first ever groom and all things considered (he’s a barker an a wriggler in the bath), he was a really good boy and I’m sure will be 10 times better next time when he knows what’s going to happen. Beautiful coat and gives kisses too 💕😄

Ezri’s first ever full groom and she was such a sweetheart. A little nervous at first but settled really quickly. It was so hot today and we both felt the heat but she was running around the garden afterwards trying to get Smudge to play so I know she felt SOoooooooo much better 💕🐾
